One could make a movie out of the question: "Red pill or blue pill" ... or even a trilogy ("Make your choice 1: Red Pill"/ "Make your choice 2: Blue Pill"/"Make your Choice 3:The aftermath of rejecting the pills") ...

Blue pill of course. As much as I would love to be a kid again there’s no grantee that knowledge is going to come in handy at all. 😆 Besides I don’t believe anyone would benefit from going back to the past so it’s better to learn from it and move forward.

I used to give money to people thinking they are needy but have been duped many times. I have once even bought medicines for a woman standing in a street with a medicine prescription looking helpless as she had no money. I thought if i give her money i might get cheated. So i actually went to 2-3 shops to find all the medicines in her prescription for a week. And gave them to her. One of the shopkeepers even mildly scolded me saying - kahan fanss gaye ho aap. When i finally gave her the medicines she still had that blank look on her face though a little surprised. I thought i had done something good today. Went home with so much peace 😊

The very next day I saw her standing at another totally distant area with the same priscription (i knew same became it was covered by a transparent polyethene like we cover our school books) in hand just like I saw a day before. She didn't see me and I didn't say anything to her... But I learnt my lesson.

Now i give to people very rarely. Never to children.. But sometimes to very Old people.

Other than that i feed the stay dogs in my colony once every night.

Is this much enough or should I go on...?

No you don't have to go on. Honestly I didn't ask that question seriously. It sucks that there are people who scam like that. Its one of the reasons even those genuinely wanting to help the poor don't do it because of their doubts. I have never been duped like that, or maybe I never realized it even if it happened to me. Though I have had doubts many times while helping anyone.

Its true beggars do have their own gang and union. They also come back for more if you help them once. Even the kids are very manipulative, like they're trained on how to get sympathy. It hurts to say them no, but sometimes I just do it when they're acting entitled or are completely fit and fine and still begging. I definitely help them if I see they're crippled. Sometimes I just give them money because my wallet is full and I feel like doing some charity. I just think they need it more than me, and it would be selfish to not help them.

Is this a trick question? I would pay $10 million to NOT have to be a six year old with the foreknowledge of all the awful things waiting in my future 😲
