Why is this forum so dead after Mon and Tue's episodes?! They were HANDS DOWN the best episodes of the show so far.

Their chemistry, the dialogues and the background score.. just lovely!

Also this is going to be a long post, you've been warned 😆

The conversation by the beach. It wasn't about the 'I love you' but the maturity with which both of them discussed their future; their fears, the difficulties and the promise to stand by each other. I absolutely love the dialogues when Shiv invited Surili into the ocean.

Samundar Ke Andar Aana Hoga

Humara Haate Pakadke

Kinare Pe Baithi Rahin Toh Phir Lehron Ki Thapede Toh Sehne Padenge

Agar Himmat Karke Aap Andar Aa Gayi

Toh Hume Tairne Aata Hai

Doobne nahin denge aapko

I wish they actually did walk into the water.. that would have been so fitting.

Hum Aapke Saath Rehna Chahte Hain

Kinaron Mein Nahin

Gehraiyon Mein

Taaki Lehren Humein Aise Thapede Na Maar Paaye

A simple promise to stay together but conveyed with such depth and simplicity. My favourite dialogue so far! A clear foreboding of the tumultuous future they're gonna face but yet giving us hope that he'll walk into the ocean with her.. it will be deep, but he won't let her drown. And neither will he let the waves "slap" [hurt] her.

Surili's fears 'Aasman aur samundar kya kabhi mil paaye' and

Shiv's response:

Samundar aur aasman kabhi ek nahin ho sakte

Lekin saath mein dikhayi dete hain

Kyun

Kyunki unka gehra rishta hai

Kyunki samundar yani paani ki niyati hai ki woh aasman mein badal bankar pahunche

Aur phir uske pyaar mein baras jaaye

Taaki usse milne ke liye wo vaapis badal banke aa sake

A clear indication of the differences between both of them, but yet they can't avoid each other because they are bound by destiny. The dialogue also gave me a sense of foreboding in that she'll be the one to have to make the clear sacrifices to reach him, and she'll be the one crying [tears are often tied to rain] and yet that's the only way she'll be able to get to him. Bittersweet.

Shiv offering his hand with a simple 'hum dono saath mein milkar ek hum banaye'

OH MY HEART. Love the way both of them decided to take the chance together.

And what do I say about the night out. Going from 'hum' to 'tum', both checking how much money they have in their wallets, to street food by the shore, and that intimacy in the cafe. So natural, so lovely and so so refreshing for ITV. I can't remember the last show where I watched leads going on a date like two normal people and having a simple conversation. Probably Yeh Un Dino Ki Baat Hai which was another lovely Sony show.

The way Shiv didn't want the night to end and took the opportunity to use the last 100 rupees. I find it interesting how their relationship has developed thanks to both of them actually not letting the opportunity go and grabbing on to it.

If he didn't take the chance to ask her for a coffee, and she didn't grab on to that, they would have never gotten close to sharing their past together. It was the perfect moment. And him taking the opportunity once again and deciding that he can't let her go, giving him the opportunity to ease her fears relating to the road trip.. and finally getting stabbed, causing her to finally sing aloud. It was truly a case of grabbing on to the opportunity, which really makes one realise that love isn't just about feeling but also about taking the chance. There are probably so many people we miss out on because we didn't grab the opportunity to let the other know how we feel. That's the chance Manvendra missed with Surili. Had he gone up to her, and mustered the courage to ask for friendship / date, things might have been different..

Back to the episode, the way they had a charged moment during the night out, and she kept her hand by the cheek and he kept kissing it... I was a little shocked for a moment LOL.. I mean it's not like we've not seen kisses on ITV but that was kinda bold and hot?! ☺️

And then just when I thought they couldn't get hotter, we have the gramophone cafe scene. I absolutely love 'Bahon Ke Darmiyaan' and I was thrilled to hear it play for them.

Loved the lighting of the scene and though I'm not a fan of the whole girl-running-the-moment-guy-gets-initmate, it was so so lovely with the way she shivered at each touch of his. It's clearly her first time in love, and he's a player I tell ya 😆 The whole let's-stop-because-I-love-you was bogus but ok it's ITV.. the fact that we got all this before the leads are actually married was refreshing. The way the sequence was shot was really stunning with the way they touched each other. Tina and Jay were on fireeee! I've always felt that Tina and Jay's acting and chemistry is so-so but they've really done so well in the past 2 episodes.

I hope the show will maintain the physical intimacy, and honest conversations they have as it goes on, both of which are a rarity on ITV these days.

All in all, my love for this show and these two has gone notches higher in the past 2 episodes. Come on people, show them some love! They deserve it!

Phew, I am done.😆

Well I wanted to give credit where due, especially since the forum is so dead. Sad that despite being better than most shows on-air, there is little discussion here. Happens for most sony shows unfortunately.

There's a lot of scope for improvement but yes, Tina and Jay were much much better in the past 2 episodes.

I watched the bits by the ocean a few times, really really loved the dialogues there! Also they surprised me with the way they have so much 'thehraav' yet expressed that desire physical intimacy.. it was refreshing and really natural, just like a normal couple in real life. I hated when he stopped because he loved her.. I guess ITV still hasn't progressed beyond a point but oh well at least we got this before marriage. I hope we'll get to see them date more before the upcoming marriage.

So true sony serials are really good and more realistic..still.ppl want to watch the same crap.. EMA, bride swapping, forced marriage.. and hence ITV is becoming bad to worst.. and more and more regressive.. we say pre Ekta, shows were good..but the thing is if I watch 5 yr old stuff it is better than the current shows and 10yrs back show are better than which came later..

I was just browsing TV few days ago I got to see kkusum (2001 ek serial ) inthat it is shown working DIL.. who help her husband in his work..I said damn where it is now? I dont whether it is becos of viewer or pH shows are getting more regressive.

First of all coming back to forum to this beautiful post! You have so BEAUTIFULLY elaborated many show viewers' thought!

I mean agree with every word!

Just to add, I also always felt Jay and Tina's first two promos (the show launch promos which attracted me to the show) was somewhere missing. I mean they were good but NOT AS GOOD AS THEY HAVE POTENTIAL. I could see something was a amiss. Good but they could still be better.

May be it was about the story progression and scene. The last THREE episodes were so so BEAUTIFUL, Tina and Jay were fabulous.

The way Surili told shivendra "aap blush kar rahe hai...." ☺️

The way shivendra said "aapke pyaar mein..."☺️

Nothing much just the way they looked at each other and said dialogues.

The confession was pretty beautifully.

yesterday, their date looked so ORGANIC, something pleasantly weird and REAL, not superficial or as if they are directed to do so. Not that every scene was perfect, but they looked raw and REAL.

Kudos to Jay and Tina for that.

Bahon ke darmiyan segment still could have been little better in execution from the team's part but the CHEMISTRY was AMAZING!

Loved that they showed BOTH Surili and Shivendra wanting each other's intimacy. Not just ML following FL and she just blushing.

I loved the part when Surili stepped on shivendra's feet to reach him for an intimate moment. That's how you use actors' adorable height difference. It was CUTE AND HOT at the same time!

I HOPE THE SHOW MAKERS USE THESE TWO FABULOUS ACTORS' CRAFT AND CHEMISTRY PROPERLY!

@Sunaina

Tell me about it! There was a time I used to watch so many ITV shows.. in the recent years I've barely watched 1-2 serials a year, and most of them I barely made it past the first few months. It's become so damn regressive and nonsensical.

Ekta shows a decade ago had loads of issues, but they almost seem like masterpieces when I compare them to the level of crap ITV shows these days. It's so sad really.

Thankfully Sony continues to bring something more modern, relatable every once in a while!

@Saabs

I completely agree! They looked so much more natural in the promos. That spark is somewhat missing in the show. But they definitely improved in this week's episodes.

There were bits in the Bahon Ke Darmiyan sequence that could definitely have been executed better.. but what I really liked was the lighting and aesthetic of the sequence.. they looked really hot [suprisingly] in some frames. The song choice was cherry on top❤️

I would say that more than their chemistry and acting, it's the general dialogues and script that has me hooked so far. Like the dialogues at the beach were so thoughtful and deep, the way they've shown Dia's trauma is very real, the brothers' bond is nice, the general screenplay of their scenes is decent without too much eyelock or trip/fall etc.

Even though I've grown to enjoy Shiv / Surili more, I'm not 100% sold on Tina and Jay.. So I am not sure how long this show will sustain my interest. Let's see.

Agreed.. there was one time I used to watch around 10 shows across channel.. at that time star, zee and sony were equally competitive.. ek use to run shows in all these channels.. to name few good shows of her Kabhi sautan kabhi saheli, kkusum, kutumb, kalaash, kundali(old).. now it is just crap.. actually gew months ago I was watching kyunki SaaS.. in that within 5 to 10 mins marriage gets over..now I was thinking how did they show marriage sequence in kundali bhagya for a month .. oh god..amazing..

The quality of show have come down over years..I too watch 2 or 3 shows in a yr
