Noone in this show - esp the leads, Ehsan, Teji, Reet, Amrita, Dodo - have any respect for privacy, consent, discretion, personal or professional boundaries 😡

💯 well said

that is why rather than a heartwarming mature story, we are getting annoyed with these characters and getting more and more disconnected.

it is not even remotely nice to watch people try to emotionally push a woman into a relationship when she has clearly said no. it is very uncomfortable to watch and infuriating. instead of romantic feels, I am annoyed and feel like slapping viaan. he is worse than ehsaan who has conveniently forgotten his love feels and is now in friend zone.

What a nonsensical excuse, writers? Is this day#2 of baby’s life or long after?

Keith is not there at all. Seems like he forgot his duty😆 because Viaan is there he has no tension at all.

Did the plane land emergently and got Amritha’s mom off? Didn’t Keith say that Amritha’s mom’s flight got delayed when she went into labor? Where is she? Kahin still plane mein chakkar nahin kaat rahin hain?🤔

I am wondering still plane didn't land or what

And so who do you ask for help? CEO of an architectural firm who is making notes, buying toys and clothes for the baby and just whiling his time off sitting in his office? And the billionaire CEO instead of pulling all stops to find a nanny, wants to become the nanny?

Where did all of his learning the “ courses” go? Sorry, if he can’t fulfill the two important tenets of baby sitting : to feed the face and clean the behind, then he shouldn’t volunteer to babysit🤢. I know, I shouldn’t find fault with Viaan who is trying, but I am so cranky watching this week’s episodes. 😡👎🏼🤢

Too much baby sitting now. Now it's difficult to tolerate this track. Till hospital chalo it's fine Viaan is there to help Amrita but again he is going to help like no one is there to help her out except Viaan.

And I so agree here that why Viaan is not taking his mom's help

Anyways too much cringy episodes now a days.

But yes I do like Katha's smile during this time. She looks so pretty while she smiles.

Which Jane Doe or John Doe is interested in watching baby basics at close quarters? I got totally irritated. I mean WHAT IS THE POINT? 😔😡Which audience is this show catering to? I mean seeing a man learning to baby-sit will lead to romantic feelings🐷in a woman? What a whacko thought and execution of progression from hate, to friendship to love? Sorry, is this path leading to love in the writers’ minds?

Let us just say this is true, why should we be subjected to this prolonged baby rearing lectures and practicals? Can’t they wrap it up quickly in a song or something like they show in movies? Instead we get lessons on “ how to put on a diaper, how to clean the behind, diaper rash, feeding angles, burping, colic” and everything under the sun. We can all read a book when we need to know, right?

It is like pay up to watch the show and get free ka headache inducing gyaan in place of entertainment☢️. We got school age kid lessons too, in the parent-teacher meeting. We got baby lessons in detail. Kya hain yeh? Most of get preached by various people in our daily lives, which we bear with, ab entertainment shows bhi preach karenge toh hum kya karein?

Makers need to end this track soon otherwise definitely show will lose viewers. Because it stuck at one point. Missing old charm of the episode where we couldn't miss a single episode.

Every character has gone bonkers this week. Let us see: Keith goes MIA , to make music and money, so his friends and not-friends would handle his baby 😡

Amritha, the new mother goes off to sleep by letting her not so knowledgeable friend take care of her infantWith all the ruckus going on, she doesn’t even wake up. Oh yeah!!! Passed out. Tell this to any new mother

Her mother gets dropped off from a flight which emergency landed because of a illness🤢

A nanny agency guy in a city like Mumbai, a country of billions looking for employment, can’t find a nanny.

A resourceful, billionaire CEO can’t get his friend a nanny or some help. Instead of being productive and delegate, he decides to kill his productivity and come try out his baby sitting skills😡Do we still call him a resourceful guy?

Katha comes to lecture us and Viaan about baby care 101, while leaving her own child to Dodo.👎🏼

Eight year old Aarav suddenly became anxious and came out of anxiety too, not sure why and now is asking his 8 yr old friend to find out what is going on with another friend and his behavior🤔. Hope we don’t get more lessons about family life and such😡………..

Do I need to say anything about Reet? Where is Pyramid guy, this is the time to kick some behind What is going on with Vanya and her mother with dementia? Why are they not going for the kill while Viaan is embroiled with all things related to a friend’s baby?

Ehsan is the only guy who did the sane thing and sleep👏I should have done the same instead of subjecting myself to this utter nonsense.

Ehsaan is too good. I mean he is always there to help Viaan. He knows Viaan is talking and asking about some non sense things but then also he is there to help him out no matter what😊

Girls, I don’t know how you all felt. I am hella annoyed with the show and myself😡……….

Thanks Mili for the entertaining post. I find your posts more interesting than episodes.

They are taking the most illogical way of telling a romantic story. This whole track makes no sense to me. Baby is cute. But I don't understand which friend on earth will do such things for a school friend what our Viaan baby is doing. Practical sessions of pregnancy care, labour room experience and hands on training of baby sitting, nappies, feeding etc. etc. All that to make a space in 8 year old's life

The best track would have been Batman helping out with Robin to make space in Aarav's life. I wonder when are they going to drop the bomb of Aarav= Batman. I hope Batman resists entry of Robin in Katha's life. I don't want him accepting in one episode that Robin is best for him and his mom. Kuch to drama dedo other than lessons on babies and exam pressure.

I have very low hopes on Reet and PapaG, with MamaG on team Viaan, PapaG stands no chance. Reet is of no use as always.

My only hope is on Vanya. I hope she brings out the most exciting twist that Teji was the real second woman in Viraj's life. Bring on some drama for god's sake yaar

PS: With all the boring lessons on life skills on childhood, parenting etc., I am still clinging on to KA, just because I read updates on other SP shows, where they serve toxicity in the name of drama. That makes me believe that still my choice of KA was the best one. Look at the positive things friends😊😊

@mango ji Your story is very heart warming and cute🤗 our problem here is, instead of giving us little trinkets of warm scenes they are compounding everything rendering a snowball effect which can come gobsmacking at us.🤣

mili -- the more I think about it, I am able to understand why I cannot relate to this baby track at all. it is because it is totally contrived. it doesn't hit emotionally.

I only respond to dramas where the guy has to deal with all the emotions in a more honest way and that happens often through circumstances beyond his control -- that is certainly more impactful.

so because I am bored, I will share the outline of a one episode drama (so each ep is a different story) I watched years ago in singapore. so ML is a really successful doctor and surgeon. he gets a call that his younger half-brother is in jail for some financial fraud. basically these two have barely spoken in years -- the last time at their father's funeral.

so the father divorced ML's mom and moved on to wife#2 and son#2. ML grew up with grandparents and so naturally has a lot of resentment. he is not even remotely sympathetic to find his brother got involved in some sort of ponzi scheme and is now in jail.

the brother pleads with doctor to take care of his 8 year old daughter and doctor is flaberghasted. he is like, "where is the mom?" and can't even facepalm that the woman had taken off with the money and left. the brother pleads that he has no one else to request and he does not want his daughter to end up in some orphanage.

very reluctantly, doctor agrees to keep her temporarily till the court case is over. it is all a bit of disaster. she is bratty and keeps acting out -- even his regular top-servant lady can barely handle the child and doctor has to pay extra to ensure she doesn't quit. the girl refuses to eat properly and the doctor keeps getting frustrated because he is all about healthy living. to make things worse, the brother is sentenced to 10 years for fraud which means the doctor is stuck with the child. he is not even remotely amused and is close to having meltdown.

the girl then gets hospitalized for gastritis and he is totally embarassed --- he is a doctor himself and the child got sick under his custody. the FL, a fellow doctor and a pediatrician, then sits him down and explains that he needs to put himself in the girl's shoes. all of a sudden, she is thrust with relatives who do not want her, giving her rules she is not used and making her eat food she does not like.

doctor is like he does not want to be her father but he is stuck with her and is not going to allow her to be bratty and unhealthy. FL then tells him that he does not need to be the father. however, flawed, she already has one who loves her but is far away from her due to circumstances. what she needs is a constant father figure which he can provide as an uncle.

so he does not need to change his character -- can be as serious and schedule oriented as he likes -- but he needs to bend a little and think about things from the child's perspective and make room for her so she feels welcome.

the ML really then reflects about his own experience of how his father left and how that made him feel at his grandparents house and he is able to see what his niece might be experience and understand why she was acting out. because she keeps drawing flowers, he will get these cutters to cut carrot in the shape of flowers for her. he cuts himself a few times but manges to do them.

she is asleep in the hospital room and so he just puts the box beside her bed and then falls asleep on the chair next to her bed. when she wakes in the middle of the night, she sees him and then sees the lunch box. she eats the carrots slowly and then goes back to sleep. next morning, he wakes up all groggy and sees kiddo is already awake. he opens the lunch box to show her and is surprised to see she has already eaten. a small smile appears on his face. she then just says, "uncle I am hungry" and he nods and says, "yea, I will get you breakfast" -- the first real conversation they have.

the episode/drama ends there. even though I watched it years ago, I really enjoyed it and liked the story. so I don't think a journey to fatherhood and dealing with past traumas have to be so silly and cringeworthy like they are doing with viaan.

it can be as simple as having a ML do carrot flowers for his niece and finding a piece of himself and also figuring out what fatherhood means. sometimes that is far more memorable for a viewer.

it was a super cute story that I remember it even though I watched it many years ago. what I enjoyed was that it wasn't manufactured. it was very clear the ML is never going to be fun-loving jolly games playing type father like his brother. the two brothers are like chalk and cheese in personality, lifestyle and approach to fatherhood.

the ML is always going to be concerned about having a clean house, following discipline, eating a proper meal (with rice, veggies and meat) and exercise. it is not like he is going to change and that is the way he is going to raise his niece. so I liked that they didn't remove the boring aspect of the ML and make him suddenly fun and change his personality. him being serious is not a personality flaw but they just showed that he needed to soften his approach and see things from the child's perspective.

they showed how him realizing his own past and then understanding his niece allows him to move past feeling like this sudden fatherhood is a burden. so he perseveres with the healthy eating of veggies and that is how he shows her his care and love.

what I enjoyed was that she understands his intent when he is fast asleep by her bed. so it is not like they have some heart to heart chat or anything. instead, she just realizes that he cares and he is going to be there for her because he is there sleeping when she wakes up. something as simple as that. she also understands that he made the carrots especially for her in the shape of flowers because he cares and so eats them even though she does not care for vegetables.

so I liked the ending with how low key it was. her asking for breakfast and him saying yes -- they were both acknowledging their places -- he was going to be her parent and she was fine with it. there was no loud over-the-top saccharine weirdness and instead, showed how the mundane everyday moments is what matters between a parent and child.

in the beginning, I thought that was the vibe they were going for with this drama -- if they had gone with that, we would have had lots of small warm scenes that would have really reasonated with viewers and established the bond between aarav and viaan as something they both need. instead, they have gone for over-the-top fictional type nonsense that doesn't resonate with some viewers like myself.

when it is done well, a parent and child bonding track is really heartwarming to watch. but here, they killed it. viaan had to change his personality and his brain apparently in order to become a stepfather. I don't even understand his fatherhood journey with googling, downloading inappropriately his love problems and bursting into delivery rooms. why is all of this so weird and cringey??????

Exactly I never wanted a viaan who's completely changed but instead wanted a viaan who's aware of his wrong notions and mistakes committed due to his misconceptions.

same; that is why I don't understand why they have done such a drastic brain transplant on viaan that he has become unrecognizable from the character we first met. what happened to his competitive work streak? what happened to his seriousness? his reserve with people? all of a sudden, he is super friendly, doesn't care about office and not aware of boundaries and space? so many changes because he fell in love? why, why, why????

This reminds me of those days when such short stories were shown on tv. Very impactful. Young and old would plan their activities around that half hour simply because of the kind of stories that were presented. The writers should go back to watching those and learn from them.

I was fuming this episode when katha is point blank telling viaan that he has no business telling people her name when she has turned him down and he grins and says "but we are just childhood friends with no filters" 👎🏼😡

nothing about this drama right now gives the maturity of 30+ characters that we initially had. I find it cringe and at times infuriating. viaan has been rejected and instead of taking it appropriately, he and his friends are still canvassing for him.

this isn't cute or sweet or even a love story. instead it is very close to stalking type harassment type emotional blackmail type crime story wrapped up in baby cloth. everything viaan does has an agenda here. why? because he is obsessed with himself selfish twat. he sees the light. he feels peace.

Couldn’t agree more. I stopped writing about his obsession because it made me mad that writers thought it was cute. These are the kind of people who can take it beyond and do some crazy stuff, either to themselves or to the victim. And no matter what, Katha is the victim. She might be shown to get away by ignoring or reasoning because she is the FL, but there are plenty of Kathas in the world who suffer through it.
I fail to see which part of this story is better. There is no family bonding, sense of humor or spontaneity, no deep reasoning that we are privy to.. people are running around like a headless chicken doing whatever takes their fancy at the moment. No rules, nothing.

Thank you for introducing me to Tahir. What a fantastic actor and what a beautiful character he portrays 🤩

and we don't have villains. where are the villains stirring up drama? smiley36 sometimes, it really does feel like random vlogs/diary entries because nothing happens. I am still keeping my fingers crossed that mr pyramid will come back.

and I am no longer excited about this love story because of the nonsense they have shown. it doesn't feel organic that 30+ characters fall in love this way. should she need persuasion to consider him romantically? doesn't a 30+ woman know her own mind? this isn't product that needs to be sold. so why this kind of emotional pressure because everyone wants viaan to be happy. what about her? so yea, in real life, such emotional pressure is very unpleasant whether it is in the arranged marriage market or just some guy proposing.

and why does falling in love for him change his personality? one of the reasons why people are persuaded to marry young is that the older you get, teh harder it is to adjust because people are set in their ways. instead, we had viaan go through such a drastic transformation that he has lost a core part of himself -- keeping his boundaries and self-respect. now, he knows neither.

am so glad that you are enjoying tahir and the drama. 🤗 he really is like the black sea that he describes and loves -- wild, honest and totally relentless. it is so fantastic to see old-fashioned rural type father bonding -- fishing, climbing trees.. nothing over the top but just keeping it simple and still showing how tahir and yigit bond so well. and I love that tahir is good but will not let anyone walk all over him. so yea, fantastic actor and beautiful charcter.
