. Yes that’s it and that’s what MB was trying to tell Meerab earlier in the episode . My cousin bhabhi is an electronics engineer , she got married to my cousin 28 years back right after finishing her engineering and was extremely excited about getting a job, be independent etc but my aunt wanted a non working bahu so she told my bhabhi’s mom thst we will not allow our bahu to work after she gets married and the mother agreed. She was so keen to get associated with our family that she immediately agreed to this condition and she did not tell this to my bhabhi neither she told this to her husband. Everyone in my family knew about this but no one except the mother knew. Marrige happened and later when my bhabhi started applying for jobs , she came to know …. She was very upset initially and so was her dad but later accepted it ( since there was no dearth of money, comforts etc ) and it’s been 28 years now ….she is happily settled with a nice husband , a son , beautiful home , great social status etc. So one has to accept things , life does not hand you your desires on a platter .Agree 💯 and IMO growth for meerab and message for us, is when she realises everything in life never happens as per our whims & fancies and accepting everything thst comes our way with humility only enables betterment of life.
