Will Shah Rukh Khan ever be a part of Maddock Horror Comedy Universe? Did he just drop a clue?

Shah Rukh Khan did an #AskSRK session with his fans ahead of his birthday. As we know, he is presently residing in Vashu Bhagnani’s building as Mannat is under renovation. This means, that we might not get to see the annual meet and greet with fans. Shah Rukh Khan built the anticipation around the title reveal of his next movie, known everywhere as ‘King’. He told his fans to do a ‘Humla’ on Siddharth Anand for updates. King is supposed to release in the coming year. The shoot has started in Poland some time back. However, there is one thing that caught our notice.

A fan asked him if he would ever play a vampire. We know that Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly being considered by Maddock Films. They are planning some fantasy action movies with him that are on the lines of Arabian Nights/ Sinbad The Sailor. So, he replied that it would be a bloody good idea to be a vampire. The fan also teased him about being the ultimate neck kisser of Bollywood.

The superstar replied to the fan in just two minutes. This did not go unnoticed by other admirers who were observing the session. They wondered which movie would Shah Rukh Khan announce next. The talk of him collaborating with Maddock Films is on since some time. The Maddock Horror Comedy Universe is perhaps the best and most profitable franchise built in India. Their last movie Thamma released in India for Diwali. It clashed with Kantara Chapter One and Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat at the box office. Thamma had Ayushmann Khurrana in the role of a young man from Delhi who becomes a vampire. Tadaka’s role was played by Rashmika Mandanna, who is already a vampire. Varun Dhawan did a cameo as Bhediya in the movie.
