@rest of the post, I think they are creating history. Yeh pehla ML hai who has lost 7 years with his "one true love" while playing house with the reason of said loss. His character has no graph, except for the low dips it takes when he is a trashbag to Sai, but that is nullified with his mission.

For the writers, somehow, that's all his character is rn, and they want us to believe that he is the ML, because they believe it. I said this earlier that the way director and writer sees his characters, his bias is seen and replicated by the audience (in any media) but Virat is one of the few cases where the audience can see that that maybe he isnt the perfect goody two shoes ML that was promised, but then, there are people who love him and agree with the director and the writer, kya kar sakte hai?

You know why his 'missions' never fill your heart with sad pride like real or fictional soldiers? Why this whitewashing tactic never works?

Because this character has no honour or warriors' code, he is a criminal rest of the time and completely inept at his job. Like they could have made his job to be the one decent thing about him but nah he either bails out criminals half of the time or is the accessory the other half. Just such a pathetic, punchable character.

That's why it pains me to see him in the uniform. Like m not saying men in uniform are angels on heaven, but everytime he hits someone while wearing it or blabbers nonsense, it angers me so much.
