1.Apologize
“Apologies shouldn’t happen because of the response of the person who was wronged. Apologies should happen because of the wrong.”
HOSPITAL CORRIDOR
A tense atmosphere hangs in the air as DR. Satya Adhikari a skilled surgeon in his 30s, rushes through the bustling hospital corridor. His face is etched with worry, his eyes searching for his wife, DR. Sai Joshi Adhikari, an equally talented surgeon.
Satya spots Sai at the end of the corridor, setting outside the operating room on a bench with a mix of determination and concern on her face. He quickens his pace, finally reaching her side. Concern etches lines on his face as he sees Sai's state. He kneels down in front of her, his eyes searching her's Satya softy said
"Sai, I'm... I'm so sorry. I overstepped my boundaries back there. I shouldn't have tried to push you away, especially during such a crisis."
Sai's eyes meet Satya's, reflecting a mix of exhaustion and hurt. She takes a deep breath, her voice soft but filled with emotion said "Satya, it's not about boundaries or professionalism right now. We're in this together. We're a team, remember?"
Satya's shoulders slump. He reaches out and gently takes Sai's hand in his gently , his voice filled with sincerity.
"I know, Sai. I just... I got scared. Seeing you in the midst of that chaos, I couldn't bear the thought of losing you or seeing you hurt. It clouded my judgment, and I acted impulsively. It was unprofessional, and I'm truly sorry."
Sai's grip tightens on Satya's hand, her voice wavering as she whispered
"I understand, Satya. But we're partners in life and in the here too We face risks together, and I wouldn't have it any other way. We have each other's backs, always."
Tears stream down Sai's cheeks, and Satya gently brushes them away with his thumb. Satya was cursing himself for being soo impulsive If he is being honest with himself he is truly surprised by his own reaction but whatever is wrong with him he need get over it asap because this is the last thing Sai needs right now
"You're right, Sai. I should have trusted in your abilities and in us. I promise, from now on, I'll support you in every decision you make, and I won't let my fear cloud my judgment again. If you feel it's best for us not to work together anymore, I'll understand. Your safety and well-being are paramount."
Sai's eyes meet Satya's, filled with a mix of guilt ,worry .
Sai gently pulled him up and made him sit beside herself turned towards him
"Satya, I don't want us to stop working together. Our connection is... unique, and it makes us stronger. But we need to communicate better, to trust each other completely. Let's learn from this experience and grow stronger as a team."
Satya's lips curve into a small smile, relief washing over his features. As Sai pulls hum into a warm embrace, holding him tightly.
Satya nodded
"Yes,, you're right. We'll learn and grow together. And I promise, I'll never let my fear hinder our partnership again"
They hold each other for a moment, finding solace and strength in their shared love and dedication.
