Khoobsurat - Old Rekha movie.

Surprisingly Alia can do well in that role.

I would like to see Pyaasa remade. One of my favorites. Hopefully they don’t ruin it

I don't think this generation likes those kind of innocent movies anymore unless they put maar dhaad and item songs in there...😆

Oh GOD. Please no!

Not only Khoobsurat is a classic that should've never been touched (they already did that with that hideous 2014 remake/reboot), but Alia has zero qualities to pull off a role like that Rekha did so beautifully.

We also don't have filmmakers like Hrishikesh Mukherjee anymore.

The other Rekha film that could've/should've been remade is Khoon Bhari Maang.👍🏼

I know Kangana is a psychopath in real life, but during her heydays she would've nailed Rekha's dual role from the film⭐️.

Just modernize the story a bit, reduce the melodrama, remove the cringe parts from the original, and remake a few songs.... and there you go. If done right, it could've been a successful revenge thriller.😆

They could sill do it, but Kangana's image has become way too negative in the public.

I don't mind remakes. But remakes should be with people who can do justice to the characters. You can't make a Sholay with actors like Varun, Siddharth, Ranbir, Alia, Kiara etc. They will just to kill the essence of that movie. Don is already ruined.

None of the current lots have the charisma to carry a Hrishikesh Mukherjee movie. Bollywood current lots are only fit for remakes like mindless South masala movies.

Drishyam or Agneepath are only a few examples of how to make a proper remake with proper casting.
