I dont follow western shows offscreen so don't know if they replaced any controversial actors. It's a common practice nowadays not to cast controversial actors and is followed by almost all big companies.

Mostly in korea these issues are taken very very seriously , there was a drama which was airing after the news of the main actor bullying in school days news came out.

He was immediately replaced and he had to apologize but his comeback is very difficult 😳 second chances in korea is not so popular.
