He knew she knew nothing about MZ and she was the first to tell him about anus. So Meerab was always upfront with him about meeting with anus and where she stood on this matter.

He is angry she got involved in Maryam issue at all and put herself in danger again. She chose Maryam over herself and him from his POV.

He looks at his mother angry she forced his hand. If his mother didn't start her taunting backwaas he would have been angry yes but kept her with him, but just ignored her as a form of punishment.

He was forced to resort to extreme measures because MB was going to make Meerab's life hell in that house and he wanted to take her away from all that.

Meerab will not deny she failed in judging Anus correctly so she deserved some form of punishment. But it would have been Murtu style, it he had a choice he wouldn't punish her like this.

What if there is no separation?
