They are really turning him into roadside gunda na. I heard some rumours taht the actor might be leaving. I would much preferred had he died saving Savi/ Satya thus completing the circle. Kamal Koshi died saving his life which brought neverending misery in Sai's life. Now Virat dying to save Savi/ Satya's life would signify closing of this horrible chapter in Sai's, somewhat redeeming the character. This would also give Sai and her children a reasonable reason to think of him fondly....
