There is no doubt Yashasvi Jaiswal is exceptional in this match.

But without Tim David's heroics MI would not have won the match. In my opinion, he deserves the PoTM more. His innings is equally exceptional which won the match for the team.

I don't understand the logic behind selecting a player for PoTM award.

Match winning performances are getting overshadowed by most runs/wkts.

On the other hand, Mbappe scored a hat-trick in the FIFA world cup final but PoTM was Messi bcoz his performance made his team win the title
