Clinical character analysis ke liye compare kiya jatha hai. The person's behavior with different people. Is there a pattern etc? It is not to justify him but to understand

Virat agreed to be in a relationship with her every time including their current and future status quo. Help?

I followed this show from beginning without even being on forum. And honestly, Pakhi despite all her behaviour, is not as deserving of blame as Virat is. Yes she shouldn’t have married Samrat in guise of Virat’s Wada but honestly, w.r.t Samrat’s ruination, I blame Virat. He had an onus to tell his elder brother everything. Patralekha was not even interested in marrying him. She was ready to go public.

Enter Sai. Exit Sai. Virat made no efforts to keep Pakhi away. He had always been pendulum, constantly seeking her when he was angry at Sai. He made Sai the constant outsider and she contributed. Both to blame, but Virat more than Pakhi, because once again Virat owes Sai something. Pakhi doesn’t.

And then he marries her, adopts Vinu, gives her a hope of life, right in front of Sai (doesn’t matter if it’s out of jealousy). He continued to prioritise Pakhi over Sai when Vinu truth came out and Pakhi is well in her rights to have expectations.

ITV’s blatant misogyny and patriarchy makes us visualise the vamp as the reason for everything to excuse the ML. But no. Virat is honestly the villain in the story. Patralekha is not winning. Yes she’s getting a son and a husband. But you know what kind of husband. He will still continue to emotionally manipulate her and lure her in. He will blame her when convenient and use her when necessary. And that’s abuse. Mental abuse 101. I’d call it Virat’s win because no one is blaming him. He’s going without punishment for all those ethics that he failed folllow

Pakhi holds a great amount of blame. She was vicious towards Sai. Agreed it was Virat's job to keep her in check and he didn't. He did ping pong. But Virat didn't put a gun on her head and asked her to do this stuff. Pakhi did it on her own. Pakhi fed Vinu with crap, the child she calls mera bacchha.

Virat is to blame. That is why I am not rooting for SaiRat. If Pakhi deserves to be punished then Virat does too.

If misogyny and giving free pass to V is wrong, painting the guy as main culprit and saying he lured the woman into everything she did is also wrong Whatever Pakhi did, they were her actions. She is to blame. Virat must be blamed for his wrong doings.

+1

Virat is given leeway because he is the supposed ml. When infact he is a much bigger offender than Patralekha. And by saying this, I'm in no way disregarding Patralekha's crimes. It's just that people tend to be softer to Virat and ignore his wrongdoings because he is the ml and was once associated with Sai who is the righteous female lead.

And yes, Patralekha isn't winning in any way. She's highly delusional otherwise she would have understood what a terrible mistake it is to be living with a psycho narcissist like Virat. But she's too blinded to realise that. And she'll never lead a happy life with him. She'll be miserable

Oh no.. don’t get me wrong. Patralekha is not blameless. What I’m doing is comparing their crimes. There’s always a perpetrator and an abettor in acts. Patralekha and Virat played both these roles with each other. But there’s something called a ‘person of trust’ that makes certain acts grave and serious. Virat was a person of trust for both Sai and Samrat. Hence he deserves more condemnation.

When we see Patralekha as winning, we are essentially victimising Virat. Which he is not. Virat is not a victim and never was.

Pakhi is the culprit of Sai and not Virat as he allowed her and even covered up for her. My grievance is he is folding hands in front of Pakhi and begging for divorce and he is forcing and dragging Sai to accept him.

Ya his behaviour with both women (when they have the status of his legal spouse or even otherwise) is abusive 100%.

His behaviour w.r.t Pakhi is not considered 'abusive enough' or even abusive at all in this forum because she's not a likeable character and she allegedly is the other woman in their favourite ship when Virat has never respected the sanctity of marriage in both his marriages.

But here's the catch : even immoral and bad people do not deserve abuse.

Domestic and/or spousal abuse is not karmic retribution.

Okay…if Virat physically dragging and hurting Sai is wrong, then Patralekha getting a harsher treatment is also equally wrong. Abuse is not relative. No one deserves to be abused in a domestic set up. No matter how much of a villain one is.
