Yes and she needs to interview and ask the production house people, Abdullah, the writer as to why this direction or vision was implemented. I have the same issue with rabia mughni from FM. she keeps interviewing the actors and asking why. What should they do? Take no work and die ? Many stated they do crappy projects here and there for money and many are type casted.

Actors have very little to no control on content. There are 500 people behind it. And 4-5 bosses who give the green signal.

The content is bad because the men who own the production houses are misogynst greedy businessmen who knows the weakness of a dumb segment of population who just can't come out. By the look of it it's more than just a segment. It's a majority and it's sad.

I really like amna and Hassan though. Amna is mostly unbiased (other than their love for humayun, Mahira and company😵). They both usually look for logic and praise good craft when they see it.

What I find difficult is that they didn't find fault in the recent flop and dumb movies Mahira and humayun did. They addressed it very lightly. They acknowledged but moved on. I don't know on what basis they call TBs romance trash when they have a 55 year old humayun doing romance with. 22 year olds. That's trashy. Along with Mahira playing a teen. That's trashy as well. Women of all ages have story.

Also the "superstars" from this industry other than fawad are just tiltes forcefully given. The whole gang like the Karan jo gang just ride the train of bulying if someone doesn't agree. Mahira is an average actor. Humayun is not bad but there's nothing special. He's just been here for 35 years that's all.

How can she use term trashy for genre?

Frankly even plot is not that bad , it’s execution where they fumbled badly - no f continuity and logic is mostly out of place .

If they had spent more time and corrected the flow it would have been cult romantic drama.
