I really like amna and Hassan though. Amna is mostly unbiased (other than their love for humayun, Mahira and company😵). They both usually look for logic and praise good craft when they see it.

What I find difficult is that they didn't find fault in the recent flop and dumb movies Mahira and humayun did. They addressed it very lightly. They acknowledged but moved on. I don't know on what basis they call TBs romance trash when they have a 55 year old humayun doing romance with. 22 year olds. That's trashy. Along with Mahira playing a teen. That's trashy as well. Women of all ages have story.

Also the "superstars" from this industry other than fawad are just tiltes forcefully given. The whole gang like the Karan jo gang just ride the train of bulying if someone doesn't agree. Mahira is an average actor. Humayun is not bad but there's nothing special. He's just been here for 35 years that's all.

MPHT has hug scenes every now and then. She doesn't feel it trashy?

Meerasim scenes looks romantic without much physical intimacy only because of yumhaj chemistry and direction.

Trashy is the last word she should use.

And tagging actors is so insensitive.

Yes, thats why they are releasing them now.. both shows are different genre that may not be that popular with the public so they are definitely using his popularity to promote them!!

The show was shot in Lock down. He was always one of the important characters in the show. Hareem is the producer and the main character of the show.

Okay i searched trashy romance.

1 defination - worthless, or of low quality.

2nd- A trashy romance is mostly focused on the physical interactions between the main character and the love interest. The plot is just there to move the characters from steamy make out session to the bedroom and back. There is no real character development or complex plot or overarching theme.

I think 2nd one is what Aamna meant.
