Look its our mistake that we imagined her calibre beyond words while she is novice..

She herself seem to be brought up in a very conservative manner as well as protected first by her fatger than her husband.

So she doesn't have strong idea of how a strong women will.behave when put into situations in which she usually put meerub.

In same way,she always dreamt of an image of a perfect man,she herself is fan of murtasim,so he is not human but a god like cteature she imagined as perfection,its nothing to do with any reality or real basis...

So this writing in itself is absurd.

There is no logic at all..

Yeah she weighed sympathy and liking factor towards murtasim by writing him in detail be it his flaws,his goodness,eveilness,anger becoz she herself in love with his ML.

But she couldn't do that for meerub..

Murtasim's behavior to her is as you said God like while we know that it is the least a man can do. Basic decency by a man is considered something of sainthood while women are the ones who are actually god and saint like. Just look at human history lol.

She wrote meerab in a way that made me question and feel that she never had an upbringing that's like meerabs or even any other normal person. So off beat. She's quite unable to imagine what meerab or any other woman who wants equal right, respect feel. She treats it in a special way. To her it's extraordinary but to others it's the minimal and how it should be.

On a serious note, the writer here deprived Murtasim of his moment of glory

He needed to handle Haya because she is closely related to him more than Meerab is related to her and it was his wife she harmed.

A Haya Murtasim showdown was needed

I hate seeing two women pitted against each other for a man and this scene was exactly that

So Meerab is written as badtameez instead of strong and her modernity/liberalism is always leading her to trouble.

She seem to be a very bubbly,sweet kind a girl whose exposure to real life is very restricted always protected and diehard romantic and herself in love with her story's ML.

So yes she doesn't understand how a strong women will actually behave,her idea of liberalism and women empowerment in limited and more of that girls who speaks rudely or dismisses other's emotions,and act stupidly in difficult situations are percieved as strong or independant which is very qrong.

A strong women knew how to held her head high despite in every difficult situation she had been put and prove everyone that she knows her battles and also how to fought them and come out as victorious not ab tumne kaunsa kaand kar diya....she reduced her character to this that now everyome mocks her😒
