I really liked yesterday’s episode. I watched it again and i knw some are bashing meerab for going with rohail and others are bashing murtasim for that qirdar comment.
MY THOUGHTS
I liked how the episode started with meerab entering her house.. you felt for her, just a couple of weeks ago she was begging them to oped the door.
I liked how she slowly walked into her room, and how sad and hurt she was not to find her belongings..
The mother daughter convo was good.. i understand putting them in the store room to help the father over come the sadness.. but your daughter was coming home for the first time.. i think they could brought back from the store room?
Meerab did not willing go to rohail’s place. Maybe this wasnt properly executed but she did not intend nor did she plan to meet him. She was happily calling saba. We clearly see how happy she was when she called saba.
Here comes Rohail, she knws him and so she doesnt want to create another drama/embarrassment as you mentioned. Because calling the cops will only look bad on her at the end and everyone will get to know.. she tried to handle the situation..
She wasnt exactly being kidnapped but she showed the hesitancy. Rohail was being demanding.. up until now, for meerab he is only a friend.. she doesnt know the whole obsession part.
When rohail takes her phone, you see that she is not confortable.. we also see that when he brings her to his place.. she doesnt want to go in.. he manipulates her by saying you dont have to be scared of me.. she still doesnt knw all his obsession..
Once in, she sees the WB and she is shocked.. she doesnt understand.. she tried to leave, even says her husband must be looking for her and all.. the only line i didnt like here was “how will i come out of this situation” she says something like that.. which felt out of contexte for me at least.. because a minute ago she said her relation with murtasim was getting stronger and stronger..
she defends the namard part as well.. she doesnt think of accusing him of something like this..
she tries to leave multiple times..
I hate this phone issue, when murtasim calles is switched off but when saba calls it rings.. the writing is bad here.. NO LOGIC
Anyways, coming to murtasim, he is scared of losing his wife.. the moment be doesnt knw where she is.. he doesnt doubt her.. but he knws she is capable of leaving him.
I liked the whole saba telephone and murtasim part.. no words, all you see is fury in his eyes!! (Damn wahaj looks good angry)
Murtasim comes in, sees his wife in another man’s flat. Meerab knws that she messed up somehow and this doesnt look good and deep down she is also scared.. Does he doubt her, i dont think so.. if Murtasim ever doubted that, at least for me, i feel he would have left her then and there…
he doesnt say anything and looks at her hurt and disappointed.. not angry.. but all hell gets loose when rohail starts with his mohabbat and all..
I wanted more blood but when did they give us what we want..
I liked how even in anger, it was only meerab who could stop him.. and he stops at her demand both times, during the punches and gun.
Little things i noticed here was even when murtasim dragged meerab out, his signature move, he made sure to grab her upper hand and not wrist.. (hayee the care ❤️😂)
They come out, meerab lets go and willing goes in. This can be interpreted in many ways but i like to see the positive side.. he doesnt have to force her to get in like rohail did, she goes in with her will..
coming to the parents house, murtasim being murtasim saves her the embrassement.. the father is a lawyer so he catches the lie..
The room convo was very well done.. but i had to play it so many times to understand murtasim’s lines..
She tries to explain, he doesnt want to listen and he says it out loud i cant get that image out of my head.. he says apna kirdar banoe.. this does not mean you are characterless….its was more like take a stand, grow a bone.. you basically let another man express his feelings in front of your husband..
From what i understood is what hurt him most was her not saying anything when rohail was expressing his love.. she kept silent and let rohail continue..
Finding your wife in someone else house, is an insult for him. Its his pride, ego, everything.. and i like what the father said.. for a man like murtasim to stay quiet after all this, THIS MEANS THAT MEERAB MEANS MORE THAN ANYTHING TO HIM. And i hope she understands that!
The end scene when murtasim is crying.. i have no words. IT WAS BEAUTIFULLY PAINFUL. I LOVED IT.
Omg i think this is the longest post ever..
