I have a lot against the writer already but the choice of dialogues today was just pathetic
Being a woman, she could have shown a bit sensibility and sensitivity when handling a plot around obsessive lover for a married woman. The married woman in question is your heroine. Give her some dignity, don't strip her off it.
About Meerab, even though I feel all protective for her, anything I will say to defend her will be perceived as pseudo-feminism. The writer has given a step-motherly treatment to her own heroine.
If not for Yumna and Wahaj's chemistry, this show deserves some slander for the backward misogynistic mindset of the writer. Her dialogue writing skills need some serious filtering.
Again, I have to remind myself that I am taking this show as a regular romance, nothing else.
The more I think about this, the more I loathe the writer in destroying the integrity of M&M's marriage by making both Murtasim and Meerab fail in drawing clear boundaries against a third person.
You do not play so harshly with the sanctity of marriage, by making either of your two characters stupid and lacking in sensing weird obsessions. 🤪
She has brought her main characters to being such a dubious and bad judge of characters, both of them, not one.
Equally wrong
There can be no Murtasim v/s Meerab
Because they are both done dirty by the writer in this aspect..
Both of them fall into the grey zone now, which makes them even complex and hard to defend or justify. I am fine by it as long as they do not lose focus over their lovestory and makes them grow out of this imperfection!
