For the moment let's start small and expand later.

Just my opinion, but I don't think it would be good to change the points system or add something in the middle of the game if it wasn't there for the first match. Maybe keep it for next time.

Like a substitute player in Soccer, one player can be replaced per match per team at any given point of the match in this IPL. It is a new rule and that player is called Impact Player.

Captains have to submit names of 4 substitute players at toss and he can chose any one of them as a substitute player for that match.

This year, it is fully automatic, and this substitute player introduction is new, so we have an option to change our prediction till last minute, after the announcement of players list and substitutes list.

But, normally the substitute's role will be in a way limited.
