After deeply thinking for a while and reading Smitha's comment on her missing shoelace... I finally got the enlightment I have been longing for... I realized we have been wrong all along... The villain... The thorn... The main hurdle in Anupama's 'journey' isn't Anuj or Vanraj or Baa or Barkha or Adhik or her kids... It's this

The slipper of course...

See, without the slipper, she wouldn't have lost it and met the abuser Anooj

Without the slipper, she wouldn't have gone to his ophees

Yes if the slipper hadn't been invented, Anupamaa would have had a happy life serving the Shahs forever. So now that she has let go of the slipper and is walking barefoot, the final hurdle in her journey is gone. From now on we will get to see Anupama's great journey. It would be empowering for sure

She can give her slippers to kinjal. Like bharat kept Rams chappal on the throne, kinjal can put anupamaas sandal in her room, which will remind her to always be a doormat in Shah's house

Earlier maids used to sleep in the kitchen. So Kitchen or outside Kitchen where we keep the doormat would be the ideal place in SH as in how she is worth in that house. 😊
