I never said Kat married into a saint family. Her husband sure is better in terms of not being a serial cheater and being besotted with her almost to the point of looking like he is grateful he got to marry her.

Yes she was pushed into acting by her mother but I have never heard of rumors that she begged her mother not to force her into films. I think you are confusing her becoming an actress with rumors of her possibly having been an escort.

My bigger point was Kapoors continued to be against women of the family acting until perhaps the last 10 years or so when Rishi said something in his book that if he could do it again he’d let Neetu work.

Valid point. I think she let it happen just to make sure engagement materialises into wedding for sure and she did not want to leave anything to chance.

And what was she triggered about? Did they hint on her being pregnant before wedding?

A gynaecologist had counted months and date of wedding and date of delivery.

She was trolled heavily on Twitter and labeled sexist, judgemental, orthodox blah blah.

Alia was very much pregnant during wedding, which is why it was rushed and mostly a private ceremony instead of public fanfare or destination wedding like Virushka.

In wedding pics, she can be seen holding her stomach or keeping hands near stomach or covering stomach with arms, hands or dupatta and reason for it became apparent later. Probably to avoid letting anyone notice or suspect a possible baby bump.

I would not call her a gold digger though. She is from a big film family who are damn rich and well connected themselves. And a superstar on her own. So why call her that?

She was surely smart enough to ensure that wild horse was finally reined in and had no escape.

I have no issues with women getting pregnant before marriage or out of wedlock. Entirely their choice. Good for them and whatever they can manage.
