I first thought it was given during separation but the person on kuch ankahi thread told me it's given to her right after marriage and not during divorce. So sepration or not the husband is supposed to give the said amount or property or gold to the bride after marriage. I have only seen aik sitam aur where the haq mehr was given to the bride right away and that too a house, some 50lac to 1crore cash and gold. That's why i think murtu and maa begum are kangooz. Just 25lac?🤣 they are shown to be more khandaani and rich than the aik sitam aur rich family.🤣

I guess according to our culture if consummation doesn't happen then the marriage is not considered to be complete. If i am not wrong that's what indian law says. Don't know how it's in Pakistan and in Islam.

Don't know whether consummation is necessary for haq mehr or not.

Is she muslim ? Its depend when and how husband afford bt he is bound to pay the haq mehr before divorce in case if divorce happens ... Matlab haq mehr jb bhi orat claim kare use pay kia ja skta hai ...
