I want to ask something...
Before that I should clear the fact that I know from where meerab is coming, her vulnerabilities, her scars, her ptsd, her abandonment issue, everything and I have clearly no issue with the way she behaves(including her chit chat in future episodes regarding talking to ruhail about her comdition for marriage)
I do get fed up with the way she behaves sometimes becoz I want her to love him back but it was always momentarily....
Now my question is will meerab at anytime was able to love someone more than herself..
I mean I personally feel there are different kind of people one who can give everything in love and Murtasim's character is like that.
Other who can love but not limitless, they don't lose themselves in their love.
I've no issues with any of these.
But I think meerabis 2nd type of personality.
Hmmmm good questions. We really have to see how this story finishes to get a full scope of what it is they are capable of doing in the name of love. From what we have seen I think Meerab cannot lose herself in love, but that does not mean she won't love him deeply, truly and honestly. But has Murtasim completely lost himself in love, no i don't think so. What does losing yourself even mean, does it mean you are putting your self respect aside, becoming self sacrificial in the name of love, losing your own individualistic identity and Murtasim has not done that, he only has put his ego aside, his ego is not his identity.
In the hands romance episode was it 20, Murtasim does say something like we should surrender to each other in the name of love, very heavy dialogues, but what does it look like in practice. Both Murtasim and Meerag are strong individuals, with imposing personalities. They will retain their sense of self as they fall in love, because it is who they are as people that is attractive to the other person. Their expression of love with be different, Murtasim will be the more romantic one will be the one making the first move, but Meerab will reach a stage when she won't step back anymore. Yes you give yourself to the other person in love, you give your heart soul body away but that does not mean the other person owns you.
My conclusion is I don't believe in this whole lose yourself completely in the name of love, because it has certain negative connotations that involves deterioration of ones character.
The story has not reached a stage yet where they are truly tested as a couple. It is coming stay tuned, I will pass my judgement once I see it.
