11.05pm Tahlia McGrath has single-handedly ensured that the UP Warriorz don't get a massive NRR hit, losing only by 42 in the end. Her innings showed that this was a mighty good batting surface and if it wasn't for a powerplay performance of 33/3, the Warriorz could've very well have had a fair crack at chasing 212 down.Credit to Jess Jonassen (3 for 43), Marizanne Kapp (1 for 29) and Shikha Pandey (1 for 18) for doing their bits, also to Alice Capsey for a tidy performance with 0 for 25.McGrath was simply fabulous but she needed one more batter to bat in her tempo. It wasn't to be as the all-round batting performance from the Capitals proved too much for the UP side.

Delhi had this one wrapped up quite early in the chase. A brilliant spell of left-arm spin from Jess Jonassen took out the main threat of Alyssa Healy quite early, and along with Kapp, she left UP Warriorz reeling on 31/3. They only managed 33 in the powerplay, and from there it was just too much to do. Tahlia McGrath played a brilliant knock, and went on quite an onslaught there at the end, but even so UP have finished short by 42 runs. They made the big call of leaving out Grace Harris after her stunning performance the other night. The idea was to get Shabnim Ismail in and get some wickets with the new ball. But it didn't work out for them tonight, with the bowlers being put to the sword by Lanning and co.

Alyssa Healy, UP Warriorz captain: That is T20 cricket. We went for 65 runs in the last 5 overs and lost 3 wickets in the powerplay. It was going to go one of two ways, we would have killed for Grace there at the end but Ismail did well. We gave away a few too many in the field. TM (Tahlia McGrath) was alone with the bat and we needed to give her support. We knew we had to come out firing, I was too loose against Jonno (Jonassen) in that over. The positive is we are doing a lot of good things but in a tournament like this it is hard to fix the small things. Fingers crossed we can correct those in a few days time at the CCI.

Marizanne Kapp: I am enjoying the batting but not the bowling at the moment. I have been in really good form and I have confidence with the bat, that seems to be working. The openers have been exceptional, Meg again today, we have an outstanding team and Jess too was excellent, so good to see different players coming out and putting their hand up. I was a bit too full in the first match and short in this game, I have to adapt to the conditions. Sometimes it feels you can close your eyes and bat out there, once someone gets in it is difficult to get them out.
