I really hope Sai maintains a distance from V. Its enough. He is not really of any help. He just messes with peoples emotions and trust.

Sai has always thought that the man who treated her like crap just for the sake of being a father, having a child- would always be an amazing father. He has seen good and bad parenting and he really wanted a child- hook or crook. He was seemingly more affected by miscarriage than her, he snatched her reproductive rights, forced her to accept P surrogacy and he was the one who even did delivery. So as a father Sai had expectations even if not as a wife, lover. But really he has failed both kids on that front. He has let Vinu be dealt with by P and Sai alone. he is doing nothing. This was the time for him to speak up. With Savi he has received too much adulation that he has had to do very little to enamour that child. She worships the ground he walks on, thinks her baba is amazing and honestly he has done very little to be worthy of all that unconditional love. He didnt care to learn how she was born, her milestones, even her bday. Even her bday cake was surprisingly planned by P- disastrously but even P had presence of mind to call bakery but V didnt. He didnt even apologize to the child for keeping the truth from her that he is her real dad. He has only given her promises but all the heavy lifting has been done only by Sai even after V entered Savi's life.

When will he actually do something legit praiseworthy?

Sai asked for a complete family. Looks like Virat is also going to be +1 with Vinu.
