Bhumi: neither pretty nor talented: how did she come in BW?

She was either an AD or casting director at YRF before debuting as an actress.

Acting wise, She is no Smita Patil, but I think she is quite decent👍🏼. She nails the small-town girl roles that's why she gets type-casted in those roles.

From her off-screen appearances/interviews, it seems like she wants to get bracketed with the likes of Kiara, Kriti, Ananya etc.👎🏼

She should embrace herself like Vidya, Konkana etc do instead of getting into the rat-race of glamour.

Btw, I think she is pretty and talented👍🏼

I found Bhumi pretty and talented in both the movies she made with Ayushmann.

Now, through her trying to 'fit in', I've lost my interest in her which means that I would watch movies she starres in but wouldn't watch them because of her.

She is pretty when she picks her clothes right. Her look in Pati.Patni is what she could go for if she wants to fit in instead whatever she picks usually. And she CAN act, she is one of the very few female lead actresses who doesn't make me cringe with her acting. The only bad performance under her by acc to me was Raksha Bandhan

As an actor she is decent in most of her roles ... besides her father was a politician right? Off-screen she comes of as a try hard and also not much of a looker.....but if untalented ppl like arjun kapoor can stay in the industry for so long yeh to kuch bhi nahi

She is talented

She is definitely talented but yay comes from a big politician family.

If everyone who followed the same standard of beauty as Manushi and Tara debuted people would complain about the lack of diversity.

She has a different type of beauty. She's an OK actor - I feel like now people are quick to portray actors as either amazing or awful when most of the time they're somewhere in between. She does her roles justice.

Personality wise she is a bit off..but again most actors are terrible irl and yet everyone fawns over them. She's not that bad in comparison. Some questionable friendships though.

I absolutely agree to that (regarding the roles I've watched).

Because I found Udta Punjab an interesting film, I watched another one of Abhishek Chaubey (Sonchiriya) and I was impressed (not only by Bhumi's performance).

I watched Badhaai Do because of the subject and Rajkumar...and then liked also Bhumi very much.

As I did not read about her, I was surprised about what she told in The Romantics.

She has a weird voice
