Give Soorma or Udta Punjab a try. I have a feeling you will like them.

Udta Punjab yes, but Alia's part is traumatizing and i don't have the stomach for it anymore, Soorma, it's a bit slow for my liking.

It is a biopic on Chamkila. I am sure his love life will be especially highlighted. There is already a Punjabi movie made with Diljit that is more focused on Chamkila’s very interesting love life. Can’t wait to see him with Pari. Very few Punjabi actresses can match up to his acting talent.

Wasn't Chamkila killed by Khalistani militants?

I think it can be a controversial topic. Diljit chooses risky subjects on dark side of Punjab. Must say he is a brave actor.

I thought it had something to do with his caste ?

Mate.. Chamkila was killed because of his "dirty" songs full of innuendos. It wasn't the norm back then. It had absolutely nothing to do with Kahlistani militants or his caste 🙄
