The original for the movie was about a beloved who will leave and broken hearts (because Vikram leaves for war). I think there’s a part in the original that says “don’t go my beloved” or something along those lines. I think this revised version says “come to me my beloved”.

Someone who’s fluent in Punjabi please translate it word for word 🙏🏽 ❤️

The revised lyrics I'm not 100% on but it's happy and positive.

The girls singer essentially saying I've asked you from God, the world is seems so fragrant now and how she's leaving everything to go with him

The male singer is saying my beloved is here, I will fill your hands/mehndi with happiness etc

I don't know the exact wordings but that's the gist I got
