There was a rule that, Members has to take permission from forum moderators to open a chat thread! Do we still have the same rule?

we don't have a moderator assigned for the forum yet; so we are following the rules as we know and just chugging along. I would say that you can go ahead and open if you like. some might be happy to chit chat about other stuff. if later, mod gets assigned, then we can figure things out. 🤷
