Part five
At Amritsar
Nehmat was found the very next morning by Harleen at a roadside stall trying to bargain for some food and tea with some work as she didn't carry cash with her. The stall owner pushed her towards the ground after a heated argument that he doesn't provide meals for beggars.
The outraged Harleen rushed forward and caught hold of the distraught soul in the nick of time rescuing her from getting hurt. She screamed at the stranger
" Tumhari himmat kaise hui meri behen pey hath uthane ki".
She slapped the guy and threatened to put him behind bars. Then she pulled Nehmat along with her and instructed firmly.
" Chup chap gaddi mein betho, hum kisi five star mein khana khayenge".
Reluctantly the older sibling obeyed as she had no choice. No money, no shelter, no job. She was in a mess. A total mess
As soon as they drove away, she started crying. Harleen pulled the car at the roadside trying to calm her that she was there to support her in whatever way she could. After all they were sisters. Hearing this , Nehmat hugged her tightly releasing her pain. Her heavy heart bled with her husband's deception.
An hour later.
They checked into a five star hotel and ordered room service. Both were starving and exhausted at the same time. They ate and slept well.
Three hours later at 12 noon
A phone call woke them up. Harleen taunted.
" Yeh subah subah kaun nalaik disturb kar raha hain. Sone bhi nehin deta!"
Ekam interrupted harshly,
"Dupaher ke barah bhej geye madam . Uth ja nehin to tere barah mein bejaunga"
She sat up straight hearing his threatening voice
" Kya hua"
He interrupted angrily.
" Amritsar mein kya kar rehi ho?Mera picha?"
How he found out? The shocked reply.
" Ikrr... Kaise peta chela".
He smirked.
"Police wala hun, sab khabar rakhta hun".
She signed to herself.
Why did i fall for a cop??
She answered casually which shook him from head to toe
" Teri ex ko dhundne ayi hun. Apne ghar sey do din sey lapata hain".
The shaky voice
" Nnnehmat ..thik .. hain ..na".
The smiling reply
" Yes, mere sath hain".
He sighed a huge relief.
" Ok. Mein ata hun".
Harleen objected firmly.
" Koyi fayda nehin. Ab vo tumse pyar nehin karti".
The shocked answer.
" Kya!!".
She continued calmly.
" Yes. Ab vo Advait se pyar karti hain".
His angry reply.
" Aise kaise ho sakta hain".
Her casual tone
" Kyun nehin ho sakta. Pyar aek baar thodi na hota hain".
The line disconnected.
Ekam Randawa was shocked from head to toe. The devastating news was unbearable. Nehmat falling for advait.
At Kapoor's
He took a warm shower in the early hours and went to sleep, feeling exhausted. He couldn't locate her in Moga and surrounding areas. Maybe she went a little far. But how?? She didn't carry any money??
A text came in at noon from Rupi who stated that Nehmat was in Amritsar. Without wasting time, he took a flight to meet her
The new feelings emerged in both wife and husband. They were battling within. The small separation did wonders.
He felt relieved she was fine. He knew he had developed feelings for her. Falling in love was a beautiful sensation. He felt it for the first time
" Nehmat, i am coming"
He whispered as he sat in the taxi towards the airport.
Will she forgive me? Will she return with me?
Thousands of questions in mind. No answers.
The politician became more restless as he flew in the bright blue sky hoping for a brighter future to be with his lovely wife.

News of Advait reaching Amritsar to fetch Nehmat was conveyed by Nikhil who texted his upset sister in law stating i don't know what happened that u took off like that. Pls come home with bhai. He's on the way to meet u.
She threw the phone on the bed angrily.
No way, she was returning with that cheater!
Harleen devised a plan . Nehmat obeyed.
Time for revenge!
He took slow steady steps towards the room hoping she would forgive him. Too much to expect after all the blunders done. He had little hope. But his wife was an ablanari . Maybe she might melt with his requests .
Shall i just confess to her. That will make it easier. She will be touched if i said the three letter words.
Naah, I have to ask for forgiveness first.
He took a deep breath as he rang the door bell.
He was amused with the room number though

Never knew Nehmat adored James Bond . Well, there was lots of stuff he didn't know about her. Maybe he needed to explore his wife first.
Silence.
Is she inside the room? How did she get to book in a five star without any money? The receptionist refused to feed him the details of the registration as client's privacy was their first priority. He didn't argue as he was too impatient to meet his missing wife.
Seconds later.
The door opened but no one was insight. He took a few steps forward into the room wondering ways to apologize when suddenly she hit him from behind with a broom she borrowed from the housekeeping a while ago. All credit goes to the intelligent Harleen who gave her the idea that at least one round of beating was required for all that she went through.
The first blow on the head!
Shocked, he turned to look towards her . Unbelievable. So much of hatred! She hit me! His heart sank there and then.
"Nehmat!".
She replied angrily giving the second blow on his stomach.
" Apni gandi zubaan sey mera naam mat lo, cheater!".
He struggled with the pain as she hit him on his buttocks.
" Yeh , Veronica ke liye!".
A few blows on his back
" Yeh, Malika ke liye!"
A few blows on his legs
" Yeh un sab ladkiyon ke liye!".
He groaned with the pain. This was unexpected!.
The ablanari turned Durga !
Is she possessed by a ghost??
Just then Harleen came out of the washroom where she hid herself awhile to offer the couple some privacy
The shocked husband.
" Tum yahan ??!"
Now he understood.
The Canadian ghost conquered his wife !
This woman instigated my sweet innocent wife against me. Damn!.
He had to stop her but the anguish pain from the blows became unbearable.
Thankfully, Ekam interrupted at once barging into the room.
" Ruk jao Nehmat!".
Both struggled with the broom till Nehmat kicked his leg.
" Hath jao!".
Furiously, she started hitting him too
" Yeh sab tumhari wajah se hua hain. Agar bharosa karlete , meri shadi is cheater sey nehi hoti".
Harleen panicked. Why is she hitting my hero
" Rukja Nehmat, Ekam ka koyi kasur nehin hain".
Angrily she pushed her away continuing hitting both men with advait receiving more blows.
Finally Ekam managed to get hold of the politician lifting him on his shoulders and running away from the room saving their both as***.
He was pretty sure the husband had done another blunder to receive that much of beating.

Part seven.
At a nursing home.
The bruised pissed husband was finally attended by a doctor who stated the wounds were not deep and would heal soon. Ekam gave the excuse of the former falling from staircase when he filled the application form for the treatment.
As soon as the doctor left advising the patient to take a rest and to be admitted for a day for further observation just in case of any emergency as his blood pressure was above the normal range, the officer confronted him demanding for answers to Nehmat 's actions
" Tune aisa kya kiya hain jo itni mar pedi aur tere sath sath meri bhi dulai hui"
The ignoring tone
"Husband wife confidential matter. U stay out of it".
The angry reply
" Oh really. If i stayed out of the matter by now u will be reaching shamshan bhumi not hospital. Idiot ".
He knew the officer wouldn't give up . He thought real hard. If i tell him i was messing around with his sister, that would land me in the ICU straightaway.
The impatient tone interrupting his thoughts.
" Kya soch raha hain. Bol tune kya kiya".
Before he could answer figuring out for an excuse , harleen interrupted sweetly saving his a**.
" Woh , main betati hun. Veronica sey phir sey chup chup mil raha tha. Iska panda phut geya. Nehmat ghar chod ke cheligeyi thi".
Ekam held Advait's collar shooking him hard
" Tu kamina insan hain jo kabhi sudher nehin sakta".
He left angrily swearing he wouldn't spend even a second with that cheater and requested Harleen to take care of the formal proceedings and bills. He had work on his sleeves. The new case hasn't been fully solved.
Advait thanked Harleen after Ekam left. The latter threatened the former about their first marriage.
Advait frowned and confessed that he was in love with his wife.
Harleen had a shock of her life.
Unbelievable! This man can actually love anything apart from politics Realising Nehmat 's feelings were not one sided, Harleen decided to be a cupid in her sister's love story
She had to act fast to unite the duo. She wanted Ekam and that is only possible if Advait and Nehmat were happily united
After struggling to escape from the mental asylum for more than a week, finally Naaz Kapoor became successful in her runaway attempt through a small broken storeroom window.
Malika fed her news about Admat in Amritsar. She found out from her brother who rang home to check if all was ok during his absence. Nehmat apparently found out and took off. Advait was falling for her. He went after to bring her back.
The furious evil lady swore to ruin her sibling's happiness!.
She never knew her own husband Nikhil plotted against her. Malika wasn't aware too about the kidnapping and blame Nehmat behind the wrongdoings. At the same time, she was getting attracted to Nikhil and desired to snatch him from his wife
The Kapoors were unaware that their younger DIL was actually missing. After the kidnapping, Nikhil informed them that Naaz was busy attending her friend's wedding offshore. She didn't get the time to inform anyone. Kapoors were puzzled but just accepted the excuse casually.
Naaz disguised herself and took off to Amritsar for her revenge plan
Nehmat should sew her seeds. Time for revenge.
Naaz plotted to murder her older sister meanwhile Harleen made plans to unite the husband wife duo bounded through an unwanted marriage.
Whose side will karma take this time?
