What's lacking in santaan?

Guys, inspite of we all lovingggg this show.........Santaan gets a thumbs down most of d tyms.......so probably there are a few things missing in it......so i think we shud think of ways......by which Santaan can gain popularity......wht do u all think?....

Its juss dat i lovee this show.....n probably if the trp goes low.....they ll air it off!.....n i dont want that to happen...

I have stopped watching this show completely.Frankly I don't even fell like reading the updates. It just feels very boring. I can guess that everyday Anusha does some natak and there is tension in the house and Shubh also gets shouted at or something like that. Ther eis nothing new in the show.

I agree. It's so boring now. I would love watching some romantic side of Adi and Nam. But they are not ecen in picture. If director or writer will bring them back to the show then trp will go up. Or if they start showing Kartik's parents and family start teaching some manner to anusha trp will be low. this show is just wate of time.

Though Im an avid viewer of Santaan since the show first began but after Kar-Nams break-up n Anus enterance the show hasnt been consistent...

I think we have seen too much of rich bahu gettin married into middle class family n creating probs for family members that we all knw wat will happen sooner or later...In addition, Anu's scehmes really dont get our attention rather draws us away from the show...

Also Shubh n Suhanas track isnt consistent..Meaning they keep goin off-on wid their tracks rather than focusing on one, solving it n then proceeding...

Too much trouble in everyones life jus makes the show seem nothing but very dramatic evry moment..

Barely n e happiness n even if it does cum once in awhile its very short-lived...

Too little of evryones fav..

but the MOST important thing I feel is, the pace of the show is extremely S-L-O-W!!! What can b combined in 2 eps is stretched out for 5-6 eps..

I personally feel, if they work on the pace n concentrate on 1-2 characters tracks at a time it will b more interesting n worth watching...Shubh n Adi-Nams shud b in the picture more often...They need to deal with Anus prob FAST becus we have seen already TOOOO much of rich bahus n their negativity that its really not working...Had Anu tried to really get along wid the family our interest wud b a lil more...But we all knew wat Anu wud do once married to Karthik...

I guess the real problem is we all were expecting sumthing totally new n fresh liked the concept made it sound but once the generation leap happened slowly it all came down to wat we had already seen...Also will mention, the time slow Santaan is aired is also a prob for the TRP's becus I dont remember n e show doing great in this time slot...Im not saying all is to b blamed on the time slot as the story is currently very slow n boring as sum have said but it does play of sum importance...

So to sum it up, I do like watching Santaan...but its not consistent...Sumtimes one eps has more intersting things to offer n the next when ur actually lookin fwd to it is a let down...

You are bang on target with yourt comments rajeev4aamna. Very well put. The pace needs to be picked up and some positve things also need to be shown. I also agree it would have been more intresting to watch had Anusha tried to adjust to her surroundings. I mean this was expected of her and that would have been something different.

I think that this show basically lacks happiness.

Like even in ekta shows, in the middle of the most depressing episodes, they'll have some couple romancing, or some joker to lighten the mood.

But here, if everyone is sad, then it stayes that way.

It lacks romance between couples.

Like, when Shubh and Jia were together, they were the only couple on screen, and all they showed was Shubh and Jia talking, never any cute moments, for which people watch these shows.

Shubh and Jia hardly got any screen space. Even in the scene where Shubh went to propose to Jia, Gayu was present

I know everyone will be revolted at the idea of Kartik-Anu romance, but there's only really been one good Adi-Nams scene

I think a lot of people are hard-core Adi-Nams fans, and they keep brining wave-after-wave of problems for them.

They focus too much on Par-Gayu.

Like Parikshit and Gyatri had their romance and their whole drama in the begining, and now everyone wantes to see what the younger generation does.

But they always focus on what Par-Gayu are talking about or planning or discussing.

Or even other characters.

Like they show what Dadaji-Vishaka are doing (playing chess, etc...) rather than what Adi-Nams will be doing.

Or they will show Poornima-Chandini discussing, or Poornima thinking rather than Kartik.

I think they give Kartik-Anu too much imortance and Adi-Nams, not enough.

Shubh and Suhana are hardly there unless they're both in some serious problem, in which, they again involve the parents

Apart from that, I love Santaan
