Vani, sometimes watching Kandya Store is like watching my father’s family where 5 brothers and their families and a bua and her family all lived together with my widowed grandmother being the head of the family except my mother was mot Dhara being the eldest bahu, she got married into my father’s family when she was 19 and for the next 20 years toiled for the family side by side raising 3 daughters and finally the family decided to separate and my parents were the last ones to leave my grandmother’s house. Even after establishing separate families, guess where we lived, in the same compound where each brother built their own house next to each other, so none actually left each other’s life😆

When my husband came to see me for the first time, he became startled to see so many in my house, never expected to see so many for a bride- groom meet session 😆and realized all my uncles lived next door to each other and they are never going to go away from my life 😆 As soon as met me in private, first thing he said, he believes in nuclear family, doesn’t have any idea of returning to India and I should not expect anything like how I am currently living😆 So going from a joint family system to just the 2 of us was initially difficult but after many years of marriage and 2 kids, I prefer this nuclear system hands down.

My husbands family paternal side is huge too bit they all believed in nuclear families right from my in-laws generation. My husband’s grandmother insisted that all her sons and DIL, grand kids, also her daughters and their families live separately right from the get go. My husband grew up in a nuclear family setting and met his extended family only during special occasions and festivals.
My husband and I grew up in a different family setting and we managed to adjust and live together till date,

It must have been a shocker for sure to meet so many in the very first meeting session 😆

So happy for you that you guys worked together inspite of different family settings you come from ..

No one set up is totally good or totally bad I think as long as it's not toxic . Whatever works for the individuals in the family is what is important.

The problem with the show is centralized power with dhara with zero consideration and empathy to the rest of the family's feelings including her very own husband.

And then we also have 3 parrots that only can mimic bhabhi is great , bhabhi is everything .

Such a set up is doomed to fail .

It's awful that it had taken a baby girl to be kidnapped by a criminal and one of the family member to loose his mental abilities for the toxic set up to break . And it sure has left miserable pain for the affected parties . I mean Dev Rishita and Shiva Raavi and much more importantly Chutki - wherever she is, I can't imagine what she would be going through with Shweta . It's inhuman what an infant of 6 months has to go through and obviously for no fault is bearing the consequences of actions of her extended family .

And to see suman Gautam and dhara to even breath in that very house where that little girl was supposed to be living happily with one spitting venom at another child of the house and the other wallowing in self pity ( being alone and husband drinking ) and the third resorting to drinking . Such a shame they are .

I don't even wish to talk about krish and his attitude it's so maddening . None of these morons deserve to have any attitude or ghamand . Such losers they are .

A Family Reunion

Its not even been 5 episodes, the Kandyas are back together now. Dhara will make sure none of them leave now.

They all made their own lives even if their situation is difficult and financially they are all struggling but Dhara doesn’t care about all that, she needs to be a control freak and the cult leader to control their lives 😡

Oh Raavi left the house because her husband has suffered the most and they have paid the price of someone else's greeds. Let's call her a house breaker.

Nobody ever acknowledged that Raavi has always been the first one to be happy for anyone's happiness, sad on anyone's misery and is the first one to sacrifice her needs, comfort and money for the family. She could've kept all the money Suman gave to her like Rishita did. But she gave half of her share to renovate the house. She has always kept family above money. But no Raavi is born to be taken for granted.

Sorry about the rant. I got carried away. But I feel for Raavi.

This is such a long and precise list of all the atrocities they have shown in the show towards ravi, the character..yet the list includes more of it..one would be ravi being forced to apologise after rishitha insults shiva after shiva wins the competition.. the whole outcome of this show is showing how a self proclaimed perfect joint family can be a bunch of asholes , stupid and self centered and can be brutally harmful to anyone who has good intentions for them and have relations with them..

Poor raavi looks so emotional recollecting all past flashes.

Today we will see poor rishita emotionally drained out and scared to see PN.

Well it lost its track as PS as soon as Dhara took over the limelight 😆

So no he has to think of what he will say when people question why it is more about Dhara than PS 😆

I am glad he is only smiling seeing pandya niwas..if he was in his senses and realised he was away from bhabhi for 7 years, he would be crying buckets watching his home and throwing dandas at raavi..🤪

You forgot about Piddhi’s attitude 😆and he is the one taking them in his luxury car to the hospital leaving Chiku and Gautam back while Dad and son will be getting burger for lunch on the way.
