They feel colorism plays a factor in anyone who does consider Ranbir attractive. Let's be honest he has his mom's facial features and is feminine looking. And his shoulders are not very broad. Even his physique is very feminine.

I mean beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. I do not hold anyone for finding Ranbir attractive. Nor would I like to label them. I think the argument was because he is an Indian actor that is the one thing going for him? šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

Lol that's just stupid. Colour is just another attribute/feature. I mean I am pretty sure if Siddhart wasn't as tall, he'd be deemed as less attractive too.. people need to get over this whole colorism victimisation. Nobody gives a f* about skin colour anymore.

People who have grown up with darker skin would def argue otherwise. For example, I do not think she is beautiful even pretty anyway. She does not look Indian to me forget Punjabi. She looks Mongolian. But the woman on your DP complains her own parents worry when she is outdoors too much because she has a darker complexion.

The point is that Ranbir does not have much of the conventional masculine attractiveness beyond height. His nose is not proportionate to his features and he is feminine-looking.

I think we sort of had this discussion a few weeks ago too. Would Vicky Kaushal be called ugly, and compared to menial workers if he were fair skinned? He’s very tall, he has a great body, has a charming smile, he may not have the most aesthetically perfect shaped nose … but does Ranbir really? Or Varun? Abhishek Bachchan despite his last name and lineage has been called the same things Vicky has. Abhishek is not as fair skinned as Ranbir and Varun.

So yea unless you are blessed with a face like Sidharth Malhotra or Aditya Roy Kapur, how attractive you are declared or not declared depends on a several factors, colorism amongst them.

I don't think Vicky's looks have much to do with his skin tone. His features are just so strictly average, including his eyes. Even if you lighten up his skin, he appears average to me. There are darker skinned South Indian actors that are very attractive like Allu Arjun and Ram Charan. I just think desi men have been getting away with strictly average looks for a long time while the women always looks so much better.

You have right to have your opinion. The thing is I do not hear a consensus when it comes to people like Vicky or Ranbir ? So I wonder what leads to the disagreement? Because many have stated they actually find Vicky very attractive ? šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø
