I have not watched the original so trailer looked not bad but Karthik and Kriti looked awful in that Munda song, so I was like Gayi paani bhains mein or whatever mein.. pls adjust with my terrible hindi.

6 years ago in the same release slot (February 10) Jolly LLB 2 made 110 crore I think. This should aim for that much atleast

Yes, Maroon, it was also a Valentines movie...BUT it was a kind of sequal and an original film...and was well received.

However, again, I don't want the movie to fail, it's just my personal view that I'm not happy...

The trailer has crossed 65+ million views in only 4 days and it is still trending so it may do good.The trailer is getting some buzz too.Movie also has an entertaining and perfect story for the hindi Indian cinema audience so there is chance of this working.If the movie is made suitable to Hindi Indian audience taste if the movie is entertaining it may work.But the movie seems to be typical 90s action type movie with lots of cringey action, dialogues and storyline so it is not my cup.Kriti is really totally a misfit in this movie.Kartik is strictly average😆

Trailer is getting views because it's being promoted as an ad everywhere. Movie might open decently because youth is always eager to watch movies on Valentine's day and there will be more boost if any song becomes a hit. But I wouldn't bet on the movie being too strong considering the director's track record and the storyline of the original. Also the Hindi dub of AVPL was available till a few months back so that may make a dent too.

You didn’t get the joke. I wasn’t talking about Akshay. In the trailer you can see Karthik is dissing nepo kids but he’s playing a character that’s a remake/copy of a character made famous by one of the biggest superstars and product of nepotism. If karthik has so much hatred for nepokids then instead of copying Allu Arjun movies, he should remake movies of non nepo kids and sell it, also instead dating nepokids like Sara, Janvi, etc, etc, he shoukdve dated gao ki hoti non nepo kids.

And nobody burns at his success tbh, I think he’s like anothe me youngster who’ll be the Anushka at most, will have hits and movies but never at the top, sth is really off putting about him both onscreen and offscreen.

As for his stardom... well... we shall see. He did get this far all by himself without Yashraj or SLB or superstar girlfriends. Or famous last names.

I don’t really know how algae he’ll go but all I see is people know him more because of his ex girlfriends and these nautankis in the media not because he has done anything ground breaking on the silver screen. Kudos to him if he’s come this far without god fathers, but that should’ve made him humble and not an arrogant item who thinks mocking others is cool

Highly doubt it. 😆 All his hits except for BB2, were before his nepo girlfriends.
