I find him funny 😆
Boy can’t be that d***b to copy a nepo kid and diss nepotism in the same character itself, ahh he’s got balls 🤣
You called it. The guy is definitely riding the sympathy wave of Sushant Singh Rajput. He is indeed extremely clever. Notice how he never ends any of his interviews without subtly reminding people of his struggles as an outsider.😆
His best work according to me are Khaleja and Julayi.
P.S: He gets "inspired" a lot btw 😆 Athadu is a copy of Sallu's Tum ko naa bhool payenge with some changes 😆
what? That’s a first time I am even hearing about this. Have you watched tum ko na…? It cannot be far from athadu.😅
And also Trivikram’s claim to fame is in his quick wit dialogs and crisp direction which cannot be copied from someone else?

It’s irony that Karthik is indirectly mocking the nepo kids in this movie while he’s blindly copying one of the biggest superstars in India who happens to be a nepo kid and is from one of the most influential movie families 🤣🤣
it’s more like he’ll taunt nepo kids, but he will date them or copy them and act like bechara .. lol
Clearly not blindly since it seems quite deliberate 😆. And he's very successful at it which gets people's goats. The burn is beautiful to watch.
Also, Akshay is not a nepokid. He's just married to one. That happened after he got his stardom, not before.

This is about as silly as claiming Alia's movies are hits because of KJo. He might get her good scripts, but actual audiences pay money to watch her films.
Same for Karthik. People are paying money to watch his films. No one is randomly declaring them hits out of sympathy.

Read again then may be you will comprehend it better because nowhere did I claim that his movies were being ‘randomly getting declared as hits out of sympathy’.
His audience comprises of those who badly want an outsider to somehow become a star or those who dislike Karan and his deliberate nepo politics etc. Just read your own posts made in his support. Show me one post where you support him because he happens to be this talented/charismatic actor. Go to any YT or SM thread of his, you will catch a similar trend.

Right... audience is paying to express sympathy for a random person.😆
Buddy, they pay because 1) they like watching a star, or 2) they get entertainment
Also, IIRC, BB2 was the only film of his which released after SSR died. How does your theory explain the successes before?
Nepo fans are now clutching at straws.

Yes they can. If you are saying they can’t then you have no idea. There are so many misguided youth in the Indian society that it’s scary. They can make a movie flop and hit both on the basis of something that has nothing to do with the movie itself.
Why are you getting so personal? On what basis are you calling me a nepo fan?
Kartik is Kartik and NOT a new/another Sushant. He has his own personality which he brings into the characters...his own energy, boyishness, coolness...whatever.
But (and it's a big BUT), why oh why did he accept this remake of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo...for a movie that isn't only fresh in viewer's minds but has in so many ways a very distinct character.
I've finally watched the trailer and I don't find anything of the ambiance the original has. Somehow, it makes me angry about the laziness of the filmmakers (and Kartik is a co-producer!)
Well, the film is done and soon ready for release... we will see if Saint Valentine has a positive influence on audience's reception.
