When we recently spoke to Harshad, the actor addressed the speculation and clarified that Sriti was not the person he was referring to.

We asked Harshad about the headlines his secret had been making outside and the names of actresses that were linked to the said secret. Harshad asked us who the actress was and we spoke to him about Sriti Jha being one of the names that were linked with his said secret. Upon hearing her name, Harshad said, ''Sriti, nahi thi. It was not Sriti. Sriti is actually a very dear friend. She is not that person. It was before that.'' When a journalist stated that even Kunal Karan Kapoor's name was linked to be that of the best friend he mentioned, Harshad refused to comment on the same and said, ''I will speak about Sriti not being that person.''

Further, when we spoke about him opening up about being scared of gays landing him the tag of being homophobic and contestants calling him names behind his back, Harshad said, ''Ab woh mera kya bolun? Kundli mein likhwa ke aaya hoon. Mere saamne kuch hota hai, peeche kuch aur hota hai, main uska kuch nahi kar sakta. But, so one more reason why I wanted to kind of do it, (Reveal his third secret) ye zaroori hai. But maybe in metros, you know, trust value hai, but precaution and prevention, you can't misplace. So basically because, you know, all 16, all 16 contestants have gone through some kind of (Molestation).''

Thank God I'm still kind of, you know, I'm taken seriously or whatever. If someone can make a headline today, like you guys are aware, right? I have not had a manager, PR... really, like she has survived, she has found some confidence. Okay, decided. God has been kind. I know what I have known about myself is my best utility is acting. I like doing that. That's almost like my counselling. It's like my therapy. It also helps me, and I also like myself. Acting, I think my best utility is that, right? And secondly, the second time, if I ever do it (A reality show), I will remember what is expected out of me.''
