Rupali Ganguli acting

I know this show is on air for more than two years. But I am new to this show and forum. Started watching this due to my mil. I wanted to ask people here do you feel Rupali tries to copy Sridevi. It is so evident for me. But it does not look good why can’t she have her own style

Yes even I felt the same. She was good in Sarabhai what happened to her now. Making weird crying faces, imitating a legend that too very poor imitation

Except Sridevi from English Vinglish was a strong woman. Yes she was simple but she had class and individuality. She made her own choices and stuck by them without having to shout on loudspeaker or make weird faces. And most importantly over the course of the movie she actually evolved as a person and a character.

Anupama has absolutely none of that. Don't get me wrong, RG is a good actress but lately her performance is more annoying than endearing. Especially since the character has been stuck in the same rut since last 2.5 years.

I thought i was the only one to think like that.😆

Yes sometimes her performance seems very familiar to that of sridevi that too particularly Sridevi's character from english vinglish.

I guess may be because of the similar traits of character or may be sridevi could be her favourite actress. Actors subconsciously tries to copy their idol.

She is a good actor. Now a days she keeps giving ott reaction but i dont blame her, this happens when one keep portraying a character this long.

Could be a combination of watching the same drama 7 days a week and over the top sequences?
