Shubh's New House in Chawl:
Shubh tells Suhana he has purchased this house for Ma & Papa. Suhana gets surprised and asks him how he got the money to buy it. Shubh makes up a story that he has a friend who knew the builder. He says he told that friend about this house, and how his parents had paid for it but because of the builder's deceit they didn't get it. He says his friend talked to the builder, paid him the money, and got him the house. And now he will repay his friend slowly as and when he makes some money. Suhana says she doesn't believe him and says Papa & Mama will not come into this house without knowing the real truth.
Karthik's new house:
Karthik takes Anusha to the new house. House is big and beautiful. Anusha is very happy to see it and talks about buying new curtains etc. She says she wants to go shopping right away. Karthik agrees.
Shubh's New House in Chawl:
Suhana again asks Shubh how he got all that money. Shubh again repeats his friend and builder story...and says that his friend also arranged for the previous residents to live elsewhere. He says Ma & Papa liked this house so much, so I want to gift it to them on their anniversary. He says, after all they are my responsibility also, I am all grown up now, and I want to give them all the happiness in the world. He then goes to the front door and fixes a new light bulb and says, I want to bring roshni in their lives. Shubh then notices a little toy under the table, probably left behind by the little girl who lived there before and gets into a pensive mood thinking about her.
Anusha's Mom Poornima's House:
Anusha talking to Poornima and her Maasi. She says, Get ready to listen to great news! The news is that I am very very very happy; I will be free from now on. Maasi says, what, were you imprisoned by them? Anusha says, then what, that house was like a prison to me; from now on I can be away from each and every person in that house that I hated to be with. Then she says, Karthik and me are moving into our house, that too by ourselves, no one else. Then she says I am in a hurry, I have to do loads of shopping etc. and says bye to them. Poornima & Maasi chuckle in delight.
Gayathri & Parikshit's Chawl House:
House is decorated; a sign says Happy Anniversary Ma & Papa, and a cake is on the table. Gayathri & Parikshit are looking on pleasantly surprised and say what is all this. Shubh, Suhana, and next-door aunty are all there and aunty says this is your children's love for you. G & P ask where Anusha & Karthik are. Suhana says she will check and tries to phone them, but doesn't get connected. Shubh says he wants to gift them something but will do so once Karthik also comes home. Just then the doorbell rings. Suhana checks, they think it's Karthik, but there is a gentleman at the door saying Karthik has sent him and asks them to accompany him somewhere.
Outside Karthik's new House:
The man then takes them to a new place and asks them to go inside. Gayathri, Parikshit, Shubh & Suhana, wonder where he has bought them and go inside. It's all-dark inside, then someone turns on the lights. Karthik is standing there smiling at them. He wishes them Happy anniversary and touches their feet, and says, you all must be wondering what you are doing here and what I am doing here. He says, this is your new house, our new house. Anusha is walking in with all her shopping. She enters the door just as Karthik says, your anniversary gift, how do you like it? She stares stunned and drops her bags. Then quickly recovers and says it slipped from her hands. Karthik gives his Ma the keys to the new house, and says it belongs to her now. Anusha is staring angrily. Gayathri & Parikshit are very happy. Karthik says, he has always dreamed of giving his family all the happiness in the world. He says, you guys have taken lot of trouble for them, now it's time for them to take it easy and enjoy. Anusha says she will keep the shopping and come back. Karthik shows them the rest of the house.
Family room in the new house:
Karthik says in the past days we all went thru lots of differences, can we forget them all and start afresh? Shubh says I thought wrong about you, today I have seen so much happiness on Ma & Papa's face that I have never seen before, I am proud of you. Gayatri says, Karthik I thought you were planning to start a new life away from us by yourselves. We thought you were angry with us. Kartik says how can you think like that, I am sorry if I said a few wrong things to you in anger, I am sorry about that. Gayathri says to Parikshit, do you remember how Kartik in his younger days used to say he would grow up and earn lots of money and serve us, see, he has done it all today. Then Gayatri asks Shubh about his gift. Shubh, says, no Ma, I was just joking, today bhaiyya has given you such a big gift, what else can others give, it will look too small in front of this. Gayathri says why are you saying this. Kartik changes the subject and says he will show them the rest of the house. Anusha thinks, this Kartik is Shravan Kumar's big brother...
Kitchen in new house:
Everyone looking and admiring the beautiful kitchen, then the dining table etc.
Shubh's room in new house:
Shubh says, bhaiyya whose room is this? Karthik says, this is a special person's room, guess who, and says Shubh Dikshit. Room is very well decorated with racecars, bike models, and Shubh's model like pictures on the wall (when did Shubh model in Santaan??). Shubh can't believe it's his room, and says it's very nice. He says, he was very wrong about his bhaiyya, whatever he did was all for them, he was stupid to think otherwise. Kartik asks him to stop apologizing and thanking him, calls him his bhola-bhala Shubh, and they hug.
Ma & Papa's room in new house:
Kartik shows Ga & Pa their new room. Suhana says the room looks so expensive. Kartik says, nothing is pricier than their parents. Shubh says he has to make a phone call and leaves. Parikshit says now Gayatri can live like the way she used to in her parents house. Kartik asks Parikshit to take a break from working and relax in the new house. Anusha is looking on angrily. Kartik says, he has one more thing to show them. Just them someone rings the doorbell, Anusha goes to check. Meanwhile Kartik gifts Gayatri & Parikshit a nameplate with their names on it. Parikshit hugs him. At the door, a deliveryman gives Anusha a parcel, which is the new nameplate that she had ordered with Kartik & her name on it. Anusha is happy and goes back in. Anusha is about to say something about the parcel, when Kartik interrupts and asks her to see the nameplate that he got made. Parikshit places it on top of her parcel, Anusha see their names on it and is so stunned, that it slips and falls. She says sorry, Kartik says its okay, it has his Ma & Papa's names on it and that will never break. Anusha looks on....

Comments: Rating 8/10. Nice episode, good acting by Kartik, I think he is on his way to get a nomination in the awards this season...It was nice to see Gayatri & family in the new house away from the chawl scenario.
