Superstar Krishna passed away today, November 15, at the age of 79. He breathed his last at around 4 am. The untimely demise of Krishna left the entire Telugu film industry in shock. Social media is abuzz with condolences to Mahesh Babu, Krishna's son, and the entire family.
On November 14, Krishna suffered a massive cardiac arrest and was rushed to the hospital and later declared that he was no more.
Krishna would embrace new technology to make his films and would almost be the first one to do so. His most popular ‘Alluri Seetharama Raju' was made using fullscope lens and his film 'Simhasanam' was the first 70mm film.
The Telugu film industry has expressed shock at the demise of Krishna.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy and Telangana Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao expressed their grief and condolences to Mahesh Babu.
