Well do you think saying that wings came out of a 30+ adult lady coz her parents went to Shirdi along with her son makes sense?

The way Misraji conveyed this to Raj makes me wonder does Raj have any rights to know with whom she spends her time.

He is in a Courtship trial where he might try to impress Manmeet but let it get me straight that he isn't in any kind of relationship with her yet. Also got rejected once.

Why did Misraji thought it correct to phrase his sentence this way?

Has she not been staying alone for years in Mumbai? If wings had to come out it could have come out long ago.

Why society thinks it's easy to say such borderline insulting sentences about a woman so easily?

Raj was a Casanova now has problem with any guy she, a lady with high ethics and who is highly professional, meets?

Do you see the hypocrisy? What if the girl would have had a Casanova nature... She would have been called a s**t, let alone terming a girl who had been single for whole freaking life.

Normalising borderline insulting sentences about women casually should be stopped according to me. No one say such things about men, and the one who falls victims to such things are a small percentage whereas for a woman be it a housewife or an independent single lady; all can be targeted with such remarks.

We are not treated with basic human mutual respect that the man of the house gets. Whether it's us who are not humans but animals or they are not humans but are Demi gods. Decide for yourself:

Was it right for Mishra to talk about Manmeet that way? What boundaries had he crossed? What should be his punishment?

Request: Also next time if you hear a man, woman or even a transgender degrading humans in general and talking about their character when they don't even know them personally or that closely. Please Stop them or leave the conversation right then and there. These kind of things should not be normalised.

It was so wrong of Mishra to talk that way and it was utterly wrong on Raj's part to not correct him or warn him.

In real life also people talk and gossip about women, more frequently if it is a single woman

I have a cousin sister who is divorcee, has two kids staying with her and she is a bank manager at the age of just 32, self made and highly committed professional. Just because she is a divorcee, her family and friends talk a lot of non sense like she got many male friends, she drives car for 6 hours alone to reach to native, she takes her male friends along and blah blah. After her father passed away, it has become more often and her own Chacha and Chachi spread the rumour that they have seen her sending a few heart emoji to some school friends and they assumed she has some affair. I once had a huge quarrel for the same with them.

If a woman is called names and shamed by her own family, what do you expect from office colleagues. They all think women are public properties and they can say anything about them anytime. Sadly we live in such a pathetic society
