Anupama is a villain, Anuj and Vanraj are victims - Page 2

Not sure about others lives, but Anupamaa is definitely the villain of her own life.

A good story arc ensures the situations and circumstances ensure the charcter develops. Anupama’s storyline issue is her refusal to grow ahead, the bashans are useless in multiple instances as she does not even follow them herself 🤪

I don't know about Vanraj but Anuj is undoubtedly a victim and en route to becoming 2nd Anupama.

Anupama is not a human only. She belongs to Mars. She should be kept in museum and scientists should do research on her. Such an antique piece.

Yup you heard that right.. She’s actually an antagonist in this story and not a protagonist. In fact Shahs are victims of Anupama’s antics, esp Vanraj. Poor Vannu baby 😞. And now so are the Kapadia’s, esp Anuj. Poor Anuj baby 😞.
Poor Vanraj and Anuj are actually victims and I feel really bad for them. Let me tell you why. Anupama planned it all to make everyone’s life hell.

1. Anupama asked her mother to get her married to Vanraj after knowing he has feelings for Reetika to make his life hell and demand money from him after divorcing him since she came from a poor family.
2. But fate has it, Reetika left Vanraj for another rich guy in America. Anupama was stuck so she started making a plan to avenge Vanraj.
3. She purposely pushed Kavya towards Vanraj so that they would have an affair eventually since she knew Vanraj didn’t love her.

4. Anupama purposely sacrificed her dreams for Pakhi and shahs so she could bring this up 25 yrs later and play victim card.

5. After catching Vanya red handed, Anupama was super happy. She can finally execute her plan and avenge Vanraj. All that crying and fainting was a drama.
6. But sadly she has to keep up her mahanta image na so she refused alimony from Vanraj and shahs.

7. Poor Vanraj wanted Anu back. He was apologetic and begged and pleaded. But Anupama is cruel. She wanted Vanraj to suffer more so she went ahead for divorce.

8. Anupama purposely stayed back at shahs and was not manipulated or emotionally blackmailed by Bapuji to do so.
9. Anupama purposely listened to all the insults and taane by Baa, Vanraj and her useless kids for 25 yrs because she can play victim card years later and give savage response to them. Yayy 🥳

10. Now when she was done with shahs, she decided to make someone else’s life hell, The Kapadia’s.

- Anupama was the one who anonymously let Anuj know that she’s available. So Anuj came running to India not even 2 months after she was officially divorced.
11. Anupama purposely met Anuj in the reunion to lure him. All that not wanting to go was drama.
12. She intentionally made sure to get a job at Anuj’s company so she can be close to him. All that fear of going to meet him and present her idea was a drama. Poor Vanya couldn’t decode it 🙁
13. She was the one who asked Anuj to get involved with her issues.

14. All the crying during Anuj’s accident was a drama. She wanted to show off.
15. Anupama helped Mukku to stay in Anuj’s good books.
16. She stayed with Anuj in his house to show off as well and also so she could be closer to Anuj.

17. Anupama ne Anuj ko apne jaal main fasa diya and confessed her feelings. This was all drama.
18. Anupama fought with her kids and society to marry Anuj was all drama. Anuj toh bacha hai na so Anupama could successfully manipulate him into marrying her. It was Anupama who forced Anuj to ask her to marry him. Who couldn’t even wait a day after she confessed to ask her to marry him. Poor baby Anuj fell for it 😞
19. Anupama told Anuj to not meet Vanraj was fake. She was faking it. She knew after they meet, they would get in an accident and that Anuj would fall from the cliff. She is an antaryami. She knows everything. She purposely didn’t prevent it from happening.

20. At the hospital, Anupama went berserk seeing Anuj in that condition and was inconsolable was all drama

21. Anupama didn’t eat or sleep properly for a month while Anuj was in the hospital and recovering was all for drama. Even though no one could see, she was still pretending to be good. She’s that good in pretending 👏
22. Anupama without caring for anyone took care of Anuj while he was in coma and fed, bathed, and did everything for Anuj was also for drama. Remember Barkha put cameras in MaAn’s room, well she was gonna have Anuj watch that later to show how much she did for him. In fact it was her plan to have the cameras installed in their room. 👀

So the moral of the story is, Anupama is a villain and her only aim is to make everyone’s life hell. First she made her mother’s life hell by being born and being a burden to her. Then Anupama made Shah’s and Vanraj’s life hell by getting married and staying and enduring their abuse for 25 years. And now she’s making Kapadia’s and Anuj’s life hell for well just existing.

I think the ending of this show should be Anupama dies or gets murdered by Vanraj, Shahs, Kapadia’s and Anuj and everyone lives happily ever after without her. Shahs will live happily ever after to not have Anu in their life. Anuj well he can go to the US and live however he wants. Poor guy fell for Anupama’s manipulations and came running to India not months after she was officially divorced. Because it was Anupama who forced him to come to India and get involved in her life. It was Anupama who told him to confess his feelings infront of all. It was all Anupama’s doing. Hopefully he’s learned a good lesson and will not fall for any such thing again. Anuj can go back to US and live his life however he wants. The end! 🥳

All the points you made from when the series was good is valid. No one will deny that. She was a victim of abuse for a long time, she was a sweet person who treated people well and a strong role model who fought through her limitations and finally learned to find herself and her happiness

But now the show has taken a nose dive and lots of later points you are trying to make are forced

Like caring for Anuj part is hokum, she was mostly at her exes house and enjoying festivals while her husband was having fits and episodes.

I think you yourself would have felt the difference when you were typing between initial points and later. Intial points were factual, later ones you are stretching the truth

For eg anupama is not making Anuj's life hell by existing, she is making his life hell by deliberately being close to her abusive ex and MIL and getting involved in their drama, getting her husband and child be abused by them and not saying a word. That's NOT how an abuse victim who escaped behaves, she has all the power now, not as before when she was helpless and tied to the home. Also no mother keeps quiet while her kid is abused.

One thing you need to understand is that the reason people are upset and dunking on the show today is BECAUSE how good the show and character was once, now its become a caricature of itself and a mockery of abuse vicitms. The hate is because of the love they had once for the show and because they feel let down

I could not have put this any better

I started watching ITV after I fell in love with the character of Anuj Kapadia and I was rooting for AnupaMaa to walk out of her marriage and go find happiness and then came 2022, it was a nose dive for sure, I mean from TRP of consistent 4,4.1, 4.2 today its at 2.5, just shows the steady decline in viewership and that happens only when viewers loose interest in characters, story writing, screenplay.

You can even see this decline in the forum, back in Nov/Dec 2021 the forum Daily discussion was like 10+pages sometimes even 20-30 pages, nowadays it's 1-2 pages, Many original group of forum contributors have simply left.

There's the proof in the pudding.

Yes, in fact I joined the forum out of sheer frustration about the haphazard and illogical storyline and the complete character butchering of Anupama. Needed to share my woes with others 😔 But looks like the smarter ones decided to just leave in order to preserve their sanity 😆
