Exit Bhabhi, enter Devrani

S tar Plus' afternoon show Bhabhi is on its way out. Sources reveal it will be off-air by the end of this month and will be replaced by Shobna Desai's Devrani.

The bhabhi of the show, Rucha Gujrathi, admits that she has been hearing similar stories but is yet to recieve an official confirmation from the production house.

Ajeet Thakur, the head of content for UTV does , not deny the reports either. "We have yet to take a call," he says.

Are the sagging TRPs the reason for the show going off air? Gujrathi doesn't think so. "The TRPs have increased after my return," she argues. Even Thakur admits that the ratings alone aren't responsible for the show's ouster. "There are several other issues which need to be addressed," he says.

Gujrathi, however, is already looking ahead. She says that she is in talks with other channels. "I would love to do a non-fiction reality show," she says.

I am sure Humari devrani wont be that gr88!.....Bhabhi still hav a strong story so it can continue 😭 😭 .It ran more than 6 or 7 yrs and currantly its the 3rd longest running daily on tv(after Kyunkii and kahanii). So sending such an established show is really a bad thing. 😡 😡
