Lots and I mean lots of daughter in laws don't get along well with their in-laws.. Aish, Jaya and I am assuming all Baccchans are headstrong personalities. it's not really surprising if they don't get along well or prefer to stay out of their ways

As for them being seen together before, it takes time for clashes to happen.. whatever the reason is, they don't want to put up a fake show of their affection for each other when there's none so I don't see the big issue

No no no. Unacceptable on IF. Aish is an almost 50 year old baby who needs internet waale rishtedaar to rescue her from the evil bachchans who torture her on a daily basis.

Good point. Shweta, Navya, AB Jr, Jaya are not brands or as expensive as Ash.

They are also more vella, jobless and affordable compared to her.

Producers probably do not want to pay her much as she commands a price.

She does not come like a buy one get one free packet like rest of retired or jobless family members.

I have generally noticed Ash keeps a more global appeal and avoids desi shows. She never came to KBC even in early 2000s when she was unmarried and most contestants desired to meet or see her or date her. Kapil show is the only crass desi show she has attended twice or so and looked mostly uncomfortable in it.

in fact, i think the Bachchans had to celebrate without Aish. So not very nice of maharani to not show up. Ab aisa theek hai?😉

I always got the sense that the Bacchans are a very patriarchal family. Jaya Bacchan left movies after marriage and the vibe always seemed that they wanted Aishwariya to follow suit. They also made her marry a tree for superstitious reasons.

I am not sure whether it was her own volition or pressure but for a long time Ash seemed content to take the backseat as a Bacchan Bahu. Also, some of her attempts to be relevant again did fail.

Now with a major role like PSI, it seems that she is prioritizing her identity and career and not pandering to her inlaws.

Of course, this is 100% pure speculation. Who knows the truth.

I am more than willing to let her live with her choices. Its the people who have been lamenting thread after thread that dignified Aish deserves better and she doesn't deserve to be treated so poorly that you should talk to.. tell them that she is bearing the consequences of her actions.. after, you can sell your morals for name and fame and get married imto a criminal family knowingly and expect everything to be hunky and Dorie, right?
