Sherry was such a sweet guy who was unnecessarily wasted in advertisement shots.
He was given hard time for way too long by Jiya after the burglary scene too.
He deserved better

I was all cool with Sherry and Jiya

but the kind of bond that they tried to make in the first few episodes, I had thought that we will get good bond among the trio (Arsal- Jiya- Sherry)

Sherry was too sober for a girl like Jiya. Their bond could be described as friend, philosopher, guide. He was a well educated, liberal minded young chap with a firm head over his shoulders.

But he didnt deserve as much of a cold shoulder from her in the latter episodes. He deserved better than that

She was mean to him, sure. However, he just run away whilst Arsal ended up getting shot. I'm not Sherry deserved to be treated the way he was but I can understand Jiya's point of view.

I understand, I just felt that given the pace of the show, the rudeness could have ended 1-2 episodes prior

I understand this.. Arsal and Jiya were the leading pair so they have to make Arsal do some heroic thing for Jiya.. in an earlier episode, Arsal left Jiya on the road when he was riding her back from her friend's home.. at that time, Sherry was shocked that how can Arsal do such a thing.. however, later, they made Sherry run away while Arsal saved Jiya from car snatchers..

Come to think of it, this was silly on the part of the writer. In her point of view, she wanted to negate any chance of Sherry and Jiya being paired together. However, that is plainly immature.

Exactly! this was totally unnecessary.. Arsal and Jiya lived together in one house since their childhood, they were in Nikah.. so if Jiya starts having some feelings for him eventually, it would be totally understandable for the viewers.. they didn't need to damage Sherry's character to make Arsal a hero..
