Is there a trailer for this? I highly doubt Ali Abbas Zafar of all people has the sensitivity to handle this well.
His films always have decent stories

Right so you are saying if a community does something bad once. They must have been at fault all the time ???

NOPE
just recalling the facts about the "victims"
What happened during partition will not change the fact that 1984 was a genocide? And those who suffered from it were survivors and martyrs. I don’t recall anyone using the term victim here besides you?
Just so you know the violence of partition fell more heavily on Punjab. As that was one major state being divided. It didn’t mean people from all faiths, caste, creed, from both countries and other states in those countries didn’t participate.

I am still not sure why partition is relevant in discussion about a film about 1984 ? But partition involved mob violence of all kinds of people who lived in the two countries being divided.
have you heard about the phrase "aatay may namak kay barabar" ?
I rest my case here.
