And if her dreams were itna hi pyaara to her, then why did she keep insisting on honouring this forced marriage?? Aditya wasn't so called "grooming" her as one writer has claimed in this thread until much later in the marriage because Imlie just wouldn't go...

This is what makes me so mad about this serial and about glorifying this Imlie character.

Omg grooming.. as far as I know grooming involves s**ual intenions with a child.

First of all, Imlie was no child. Episode 1 of show she was 18 years old.

Secondly, Adi never showed s**ual intentions towards her upto episode when unka room-pravesh hua tha with family's approval. Half of Adilie fandom (including me) ka to ye bahut bada dukh tha.. Unki supposed first-night par bhi Adi ne apna famous dialogue mara tha , "jab tak tum nahin chahogi Imlie hum is bistar par silvate nahin padne denge."

How is all this grooming.

Malini ka character full villain banaya hain... by creative team and Malini to large extent wanted all to hate her fully. Her goals achieved. Whether it is good acting, or some call poor acting or some call her excellent... whatsoever way she achieved that result.

Aditya's character too... from loveable to hate... this is how writers wished to present to have him exit.

Aryan's is on going... same mold like Aditya but here producers want to retain that romance too so keep showing Arylie romance here and there..

Imlie ka turn hain ab.. loveable to hated..

Maybe the producers vision is to have key characters exit after being hated.

This way viewer's addiction towards characters get's reduced.

Gul has mentioned hero / heroine worship fails the whole push towards story.. maybe partially she is right too. The channel and writer's do keep taking viewer's feedback through social media... and if key characters wish to exit, or may even demand hikes every 6 month or any other internal matter... economics fail... It is not about money too.. all serials are rushing towards leaps and earlier towards pregnancy... thus all money indirectly gets wasted and people will prefer more OTT over period of time.

Gul did experiment OTT serial, maybe it had few takers but that is the only future.

In earlier days max 13 to 26 or 52 episode serials existed. It was never for ever script and story telling.

Even our great Mahabharat or Ramayan had definite end...
