I found his take on the popularity of The Secret Lives of Bollywood Wives quite interesting. He seems to be aware that the show is cringy and unintelligent, even artificial. But it sure has grabbed a lot of eyeballs, despite all the trolling.
That’s true for movies as well, where people talk about wanting to watch intelligent movies, but box office collections of such movies says otherwise. They talk about nepotism, but rarely make stars out of outsiders.
Does this mean that Steve Jobs was right and people shouldn’t be asked what they want (because they don’t really know the answer)? 🤔
