Do you compare performers from same family?

Do you see actors, singers etc for what they are or compare them to their already famous relatives?

Do you compare only once or all time?

I admit I never saw Abhishek for him alone and always found him lacking compared to his dad and mom as an actor. I could never see Esha as a stand alone either and always kept wondering how her mom is more charismatic and better artiste than her even at this age.

I always wondered how Sonam and Harsh are nowhere having affable screen presence, talent, voice modulation and ability to get under skin of every character like their dad Anil. And I simply find Jhanvi unworthy to even compare with her mom Sridevi. Tusshar was also nowhere near his dad Jeetendra, and almost seemed more repulsive whenever I thought of his dad while watching him.

I and my family could not help but feel awe how did Hrithik have such charisma and skills as actor and dancer and it was hard to believe he was son of Rakesh Roshan. I always found Usha Mangeshkar to be a weird mix of voices of Lata and Asha whenever she sang.

Are you able to see singers, actors, writers, filmmakers as standalone for what they are, without thinking of their other relatives who are also in business and are public figures? Please share your honest feelings if you are able to see artistes without comparing them to their relatives and whether it adds to a dislike or increased like for the artiste for you as a viewer.
