He’s saving it for next year when alia will be nominated for gangu, he’s already exhausted his influence when he got alia not only nominated but also wining got her extended cameo in gully boy

Ranveer winning was also KJo influence. KJo needed the award more for Ranveer (For Rocky Rani's good image) than for Sid. Alia won the Lead Actor Female for her supporting role in Gully Boy, coz KJo was about to start Takht during that award season.

KJo's act reminds me of Heroine, where Rampal takes the jodi of the year award with the heroine of his upcoming movie instead of with Kareena.

Sid deserved it period.

Sid deserved this award for portraying major Vikram Batra so well. Yes it was a tough competition but I do think Sid deserved more and showed great versatility in this role 👏

But again it’s FF - so…!! 😆

Alia winning for Gully was meh. but there is no doubt at all that she will win all possible awards for Gangubai next year..i mean she owned that movie and role to the T. i cannot even think of anyone else in the standing even. and its already sep..may be deepika for gehraiyaan..this will be a clean sweep and would not even require any special efforts from anyone..there is just no competition..whatsoever..

KJo also is slightly jealous that he didn't offer this film to Sid, Sid himself took the film to KJo to co-produce. Jahan pe credit lene ke jagah dene padte hai wahan KJo monetary investment chhod ke aur kuch invest nahin karta.
