We shouldn’t forget that things can happen, even if we don’t expect or foresee them.
Example:
Kapının önünde zili tamir ediyordum. Kapı açık diye anahtarımı almadım. Bir rüzgar esti, kapı kapandı. Akla gelmeyen başa geliyor.
“I was fixing the bell in front of the door. I didn’t get my key because the door was open. The wind blew, the door got closed. The unexpected always happens😕😞
is this a turkish poem? a proverb? it is a good one. :)

Imo the only actress who has managed to get us to feel for her when she was working opposite Danish was Sanam Chaudhry in Ab Dekh Khuda Kya Karta Hai.
Jaan e Alam was downright disgusting and evil, yes, but he was highly charismatic too. If Sanam would have not portrayed Mariyam the way she did, everyone would probably sympathise with Alam post leap.
But since Danish and Sanam's acting was so on point, even though you'd feel the manipulation from Alam's end (kinda start to feel for the sicko), it was such a tug of war of emotions because of their performances, that it left you feeling drained after the finale.
The only actress I can imagine from the current lot nailing the role of Mehak acting wise is Sajal Aly. Got the innocence and the looks, plus the acting chops, and she looks great with Danish.
DurE physically fits the part, and I even find it refreshing she isn't one of those actresses who has lost tremendous amounts of weight and ruined her face (which a lot of them have done tbh). However her performance is all over the place.
yea I appreciate that she looks normal in weight as well as her face. I can really tell that she is trying with her expressions but at times, she just looks like a baby doll. I feel like her problem is that she is acting with her brain and not necessarily from the heart. because the role relies on subtlety -- where mehak is unable to express her feelings many times -- all those times, she fails because she is unable to convey with her eyes. when she has dialogues, then her acting is more on point because you can hear the inflection in her voice and most of her expressions match.

awesome. I like how the proverb is in so visual and storytelling vibe. it makes it really easy to understand the point it is trying to convey. I will note it down.

Çıkmadık candan umut kesilmez.
Eng: If the person didn’t die, there is still hope.
Example
Üzülme, son aday henüz açıklanmadı. Çıkmadın candan umut kesilmez.
Eng
“Don’t worry, the last candidate has not been announced yet. While there’s life, there’s hope.
I feel she needs to work on her dialogue delivery as well. In the initial episodes she could barely even get the pronunciation of basic urdu words right like bharosa, gaya, etc. And that would get quite distracting in the middle of some serious dialogues.Originally posted by: mango.falooda

"Humare saath jo bhi hota hai, hum us har ek cheez ka badla nai le sakte, lekin khudrath leti hai, maine apna faisla khudrath pe chodh diya hai"
I think this dialogue is yet to play out in the show.
Watch how the they show Shamsher and his family when Mehak's dialogue is playing in the background. I feel it foreshadows the fate of the nawabs. Their end is definitely gonna be tragic for whatever they have done with Mehak and her family.
I know teasers are cut and edited in a certain way. But i do feel this is what its all gonna be like as far as the story is concerned. For me the show has had a tragic vibe since the start and it continues to be that way.
